I was not able to get spot checks at all, except the amps. He is particularly grouchy today. And I pierced right through his ear. It actually bled from the inside :sad:
Working 2p-10p too. I am off Thursday-Sunday so I will get as much as I can then. Hopefully that will tell me/us something.

Can you get a +2 or a +3 tonight? Sorry about the over poke, I hate that. I switched to the One Touch Delica lancet, it's very gentle, very thin guage lancet, Tucker likes it much better than the other lancet devices we've used. I need to get another for Kiki.

I can definately get up to +3
We use BD 30 gauge. The reason I like this type is because I can put the thing in my mouth and pull out the lancet, poke put it back, waalaa. I just bought a box of 100 and ordered a big 200 piece box from Hocks. I will check the kind you use in about 250 pokes. LOL Anything to make it easier on Mick man.

The Delica has a different top and a different lancet that can't be used in any other device. Anything to make a buck
Could you get some +3 numbers over the next few days if you can't get mid-cycle numbers. It's hard to see how Mickey is reacting to the insulin without data but you have a crazy schedule so I know it's hard. I have to take my own advice and get some +3s on Kiki too.

I love those BDs! I won't use anything else. I have tried a have dozen brands and won't try any others ever again. I would never try to recap it in my mouth though! I am sure I would stab my lip. I just spit out the cap and recap it one handed (I test on my dining room table).
I tore Beau's ear once, using a lancing device, because he hated that click so he learned to anticipate it and flicked his ear just as I pushed the trigger. God, I felt awful about that. Ever since then I do it freehand.
