Happy Saturday!

Yesterday's condo

Yesterday
AMPS=148 (1u); +1=167; +2=164; +8=144
PMPS=160 (1u); +2.25=86; +3=86; +4=83; +5=88; +6=79; +9.5=108

Today
AMPS=130 (1u); +1=151; +2=131; +4=146; +6.5=146
PMPS=175 (1u); +2=158; +3.5=133

Last night, Lucy dropped at +2 and surprised me, but had a nice surf.
I hope I'll see some more greens this weekend.

Lucy's appy this morning is so-so kind of OK.
But she is purry, so she's feeling fine, although she had a part shaped part pudding poo earlier.
No idea what caused the soft poo....
If her appetite improves this evening, I'll sprinkle some Fortiflora.
I wished she liked Fortiflora like other kitties!

I hope everyone's having a nice day!

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130

Nice numbers for Lucy last night. I hope she heads to the lagoon today. Sending good appy vines to Lucy.

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130

Hi Mariko! What a nice girl, to surf that surprise drop for her bean! I'm showing the condo to Chyna since she did sort of the same thing this morning, 162 to 95 in 3hrs (I was sleeping at the +2 but had left the timer food on for that time :? ). I would like her to follow Lucys example :lol:

I don't remember if you've used baby food squash or if Lucy hates it...it works for Chyna to firm poos but doesn't seem to help soften...and she doesn't need that firming with her CKD so I stopped giving it. I hope you can get the Forti Flora sneaked into Lucy ;-) .

Do you have empty gel caps? Tricia was giving the forti flora in gel caps, in a pill pocket as one of her kittys didn't like it either :cool: . She did say she had to use several per packet. Well, I hope you and Lucy (and Ginger, is she doing ok?) have a nice day :razz:

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130;+2=131

Thank you, Carla and Rachel.

I did try babyfood squash , and she didn't mind the taste.
I think it might have helped her tummy feel good, but at the same time it did soften her poo.
So I'm trying to figure out a workable schedule, instead of every meal, every other day, maybe.
Right now, her poops have been on a softer side, so I'm holding the squash.
Isn't it ironic? I want Lucy's poo firm up, and squash makes it softer.
You want Chyna's poo soften, and it has it the opposite effect. Silly cats!!!

I also do have gel caps for pilling the bitter pills when she's not eating, but she hates being pilled more than she hates eating Fortiflora, I think.
When I get more desperate, I think I'll do Perls (in a cube of tuna sashimi!!!).

Ginger is doing better. Thank you for asking!

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130;+2=131

It is funny how ECID somtimes! :lol: . And not funny, when you're trying to find something to help them :? .

Slippery Elm Bark is good too for digestive/intestinal, have you tried it? We used it when she was first diagnosed for CKD with the stomach acid but when I started Pepcid AC I stopped using it. Chyna was licking her lips again so I started giving a half capsule a day and it helped, and on the plus side her poos are much better too :cool: . Sorry if you already know about it and I'm babbling on :o .

I'm glad Ginger is better. I bought those pearls and haven't tried them yet...is tuna Lucys weakness too? It's the only "people" food Chyna goes nuts for :lol:

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130;+2=131;+4=146

Thank you again Rachel!
I give SEB to Ginger, but haven't given it to Lucy for a long time.
I can't remember if it was because she didn't like the taste or because it made her stool soft...
I might try that again... Thanks for reminding!

Yes, tuna is Lucy's weakness. :lol:
Especially tuna sashimi.

Re: 3/1 Lucy AMPS=130;+2=131;+4=146

Hi, Mariko, I'm glad Lucy is feeling ok today. I hope you're able to figure out the perfect combination to help out with her poos. Of course, because she's a kitty, that perfect combo may need to be changed once you have it figured out ;-)

I hope you and the girls are enjoying your day :-D

Tuna sashimi is my weakness, too ;-)

Re: 3/1 Lucy PMPS=175

It was cold today!
We had a nice nap together.

Lucy is doing fine.
She wasn't particularly excited about dinner, but ate OK by finger-feeding.

Re: 3/1 Lucy PMPS=175

I think Lucy is holding out for some tuna sashimi. :-D :-D The other probiotic I've seen people use is Renew Ultimate Critical Care, a powder you can sprinkle on fuds. I've seen it in the organic refrigerated section at Canadian SuperStore.

Lucy, mamabean wants to see some more green this weekend. Pretty please?

Re: 3/1 Lucy PMPS=175;+2=158

Well it doesn't look like lagoon is happening today.
That's fine.... I need sleep.
