Re: 3/1 Harley AMPS 471

Hi guys .. bummer on this mornings number .. I don't think it is a matter of us doing anything wrong that prevents our kitties from surfing .. it's just that we want to help them so bad, we like to take the blame .. you have to know it's all about harleys little body .. Hang in there!

Re: 3/1 Harley AMPS 471

That really was a nice stretch yesterday for Harley - at least 13 hours (maybe more) in blue/green with no trip to the cellar

He cleared the last bounce pretty quick - hopefully he will clear this one quickly as well. . . then on to more liver training. . .:-D

tonight Harley is 239 - that's 232 points in 12 hours. Seems like a lot to me. could the dose be too high, causing low numbers and high bounces. I feel like I should go to 3.25 tonight instead of 3.5. Any thoughts?

Well, it was shot time so I did shave a little of the dose. Did not go to the 3.25 and will test in an hour to see what happens.

That is a nice PMPS there. :-D

I'm not one to advocate a decrease without seeing the signals.
It looks to me like Harley just cleared the bounce today, not that the 3.5u hammered him down.
He needs to hang out in the blues and greens if he is ever going to get used to them

It's difficult for me to say at this point whether 3.5u is too much or if you should go with 3.25u, 3.5uS, 3.25uF. . .
you haven't held a dose for more than 2 cycles in the last 4.

If you are concerned about not being around to monitor and Harley going low, how about trying a fat 3.25 - and holding it?
Lantus likes consistency - you need to find a dose you can shoot consistently every 12 hours.

that's my $0.02. hopefully others will chime in

I understand Sandy, but I see 6 cycles at the 3.5 and a couple where he really fell low. Don't know the difference between a skinny 3.5 and a fat 3.25. Tonight, he is still toward the 3.5 side.
