After yesterday's blue number, this week end we had only high numbers. I don't understand if it is a bounce or I'm doing a series of fur shots.
Hope you had and are having a good week end!

I think you're looking at a bounce from the blues

Why do you think you might be giving furshots? Lantus has a very distinct smell, so if you're not sure, try "sniffing" Cleo's fur. It smells like a band-aid (or some people say it smells like Scotch but I don't drink so I wouldn't know)

I think I might be giving fur shots because I've changed shooting technique. Now I shoot while she is eating, instead of taking her in my chest and shoot. But I didn't see wet fur nor Lantus smell. Actually, there always is a bit of Lantus smell on her fur, due at drops that fall on the syringe when I tune the dose. Is this not normal? I'm doing wrong?

I don't know how scotch smells, but if it is like Lantus I'll never drink it :)

I also think she's bouncing from the blues a couple of nights ago.

I always adjusted the dose in the kitchen where I drew it up, then carried the syringe and punkin's bowl to the dining room. Put the bowl down and as soon as he started eating I gave him the shot.

I kept thinking I was giving fur shots because I could smell the lantus. Someone advised me to use a tissue to wipe the excess insulin from the end of the syringe and the needle before shooting which I started doing. From that point I did know whether or not it was a fur shot from the smell.
