If anyone is around, it's time for me to test again, and shoot and feed. I gave Chase a little bit of freeze dried turkey bites earlier. Maybe that did it.

I guess I will just really make sure he's going to eat before I shoot? He doesn't throw up often, but I know it's not good. When he does,it'almost always clear, and this morning he threw up his treat.

He was hungry and ate most of his 1/4 cup Chase mix. If he throws up again, though, he will have insulin in him on an empty stomach. :( I probably should have waited. Maybe I should just "do it" and quit posting. LOL

Sorry about the vomits and hope Chase eats a good breakfast. Doodles vomits from the freeze dried treats regardless of brand so he doesn't get any. Hope you have a good day Sandi.

I'm sorry for Doodles but at least I know it happens elsewhere... with the treats, I mean. He's been getting them all week. Oh well. I'll pull back from those, for now.

I appreciate you saying hello. Have a great day!

I hope Chase ate for you and surfs safely today. A lot of times my cats will go right back and eat after they've vomited.

If Glen is hungry he pukes up freeze dried anything. I give my kitties freeze dried raw as something to munch on and if he eats that first thing in the morning it comes right back up!

Thanks for sharing that. I was worried, of course. He ate just fine and his numbers are doing their "kind of" usual thing.

Maybe I'm kind of on my own, now. That's ok. I'll just post in his SS and if anyone is curious and wants to look, feel free. I will quit posting every day. I know there are others who need way more help than me. :)

This BG of 59 is the lowest he's ever been, that I know of. He's still acting fine and I'm going to test again in a minute. If anyone is around, maybe help me though this one. He's only on a drop dose, now.

First off just breath! That 59 is not hypo yet since you are using a relion meter.

You can help to steer his cycle with some food. The high carb you fed is ok just not to much. Can you get another test in at his +3 to see how he's doing?
Hi. Thank you SO very much for helping. :) I only gave Chase like 1 TBL HC gravy. Then I tested again 30 min after the gravy. He's back up to 111. This is just really strange. I breathed just like you said. And I'm getting better at not freaking out. :)

I know it's hard not to panic but you did just fine! That 111 is a nice safe number to be at. Could you take down the 911 since everything is under control right now?

I would suggest another test at +4 & check in again here. I'm assuming the test 30 minutes after the high carb food was at about +3 so a +4 with no more food until you test will give us an idea how the rest of the cycle is going to go.

Oh my gosh... I'm SO sorry about the 911. I changed it.Thank you.

It's ok, you did the right thing. We just ask you to take it down so others don't panic when they see it. If at anytime you are dealing with a hypo or some kind of emergency you are best to put up the 911.

Please feel free to post here as much as you want. We have all been in your shoes before!! This is like a family here & we all try to help each other as much as we can. If you choose to post everyday it helps others to get to know you & Chase. This is especially important if your looking for any kind of dosing advice.

I guess the 911 was bad of me to do, since it wasn't a life threatening emergency. I've never seen a number that low for him...

Not bad at all!! It's best to ask & put up a 911 at the time since your still learning. It's better to overreact then /2 TBLto do nothing at all Do you have your hypo tool kit together?
I still need to get a bulb syringe (I guess that's what they are called... just incase I have to go to e
