We talked to the vet Wednesday night and she instructed a .5 unit dose twice a day consistently for 7-10 days to see how Simon regulates. She is hopeful that he will be a good candidate for diet controlled remission. We shall see. He was neutered yesterday, so perhaps the rise is somewhat due to stress... confused_cat

Fingers crossed that the yellow this morning is just from all the stress of losing the family jewels and he will come right back down for you again.

I know my boys always seemed to give me dirty looks for days, after their procedures. :o

He'll feel better soon and give you those good numbers. :thumbup

To healthy and happy kitties! drinking24

Thanks for the good wishes! The vet wants us to stick with the .5 dose for 7-10 days. She said you have to be consistent for awhile to really see how they are tolerating the dose. He seems very happy, and we are watching him closely!! cat_pet_icon

He is such a pretty boy, I love his face markings :-D I used to have a brown and white tabby like him except that mine was long-haired.
