The last dose of mirtz I gave Morris on Fri Mar 5 should be wearing off today. As instructed by my vet, I will not give him another dose today & see if he will continue eating on his own. He seems to be doing quite well & I am fairly sure that this p~itis flare is done, so I am pretty sure he will continue eating without the mirtz. Now, lets just hope I am right! LOL!

All P's seem to be in working order!

Morris did not even touch his +8 snack today! I think I will still hold off on the mirtz & see how he does overnight....perhaps it was just a fluke that he didn't eat his snack. Or, perhaps he didn't like that I gave him all Friskies today rather than some Friskies & some Fancy Feast. For tonight, I went back to giving him some Fancy Feast & some Friskies in hopes that will help him eat better tonight!

So, did Morris eat his dinner?

Yes! When I went back downstairs to get ready for his +2 reading, I noticed that he had already eaten 90-95% of his dinner (the remainder was squished up on the sides of the dish). After I finnished poking him, he got up & went back over to his dish & continued eating! He had a strange look on his face a few mins later when the timed feeder switched compartments while he was there trying to eat!!! ohmygod_smile It was kind of humerous from where I was sitting!!! He recovered quick enough & went back to eating out of the new food that was presented to him! Hopefully, I will find an empty timed feeder in the morning!
