So when does she get wet and when does she get dry food? And she gets the dry food in a 50-50 mix of DM and Dr. Elsey's? Not separately?

Twice a day I put down a fresh serving of both wet and dry. So each time she gets a can of wet food and then she's now getting the 50/50 dry food mixed together.

Edited to add: twice a day, specifically right after each shot.

OK. So she is free fed? Goes to the bowl and eats through the day and night whenever she wants? Does she gobble it all down at once? Or grazes?

If I eventually move her shot time to 530 I won't be able to. I've never really consistently done that...withholding. Is the idea of it that if their preshot is high enough without food, you know you should definitely be safer once they get the food since that will raise them more?

PMPS is awful. She didn't bother with her wet food today, so maybe that's part of it. Maybe there was a lower number I didn't catch? Guess we'll see what happens tonight. Today will be day 4 on this dose.

Yes

I don't think you missed any lows. Is the food change giving her any loose poops?

No poop today, but yesterday it looked normal.

Seems like since we've started raising her dose and she's been eating more wet food, she's been gaining more weight. I weigh her every Wednesday and usually she's 17.6 or so pounds (she's a bigger boned cat) but she was 18.1 last week. Not sure how to feel about that...I'm glad she's not losing weight because of the diabetes, but also the more she weighs, the more insulin she may need, plus I worry about her getting too big and how that could affect her health in general.

Lately I've seen her hanging out under the futon which I usually take as a bad sign, but she doesn't act like anything is bothering her. She loves her naps, eats good, plays a little at catnip time, and her fur looks and feels good.

I'll vary testing a smidge and try to get a +8 tonight and see how she does.
