I raised Snick's lantus 1/4 unit and her numbers are lower than I have seen since she was diagnosed. She is doing so much better! Her neuropathy is doing better as well! She is jumping and running everywhere!

Her shots are so late at night and her numbers have been so high I haven't tested at night. It's at 10:30pm. But now that they are coming down I will do a couple of tests around her nadir to make sure she doesn't drop too low.

To clarify, I wasn't talking about the tests, I was talking about her shots. There are several blanks in unit columns. I realized that I mistyped.

Laziness.......she gets her shots everyday at 10;30 am/pm. She was on just 1 unit and it's now 1 1/4. I filled them in....

Snicks last two shots, her pre dinner at 10:30 and just now at 11:30 she has suddenly shot up to 400. Same dinner.

Since you've got your signature and spreadsheet going, you might find it helpful to start posting in the Lantus/Levemir forum where all the folks are using that insulin.
One reason the numbers may be going up is a food spike. The other is bouncing - when the glucose drops to an unfamiliar level, or drops rapidly, or drops to too low of a level, the body releases stored glucose (glycogen) and tends to overcompensate, bringing the glucose way up, for as long as 3 days.
