Maverick was oddly flat greens all night, and gave me a nice little AMPS of 83 , I shot his regular dose, didn't stall.

I might need some help later (or not if he bounces lol), I'll get a +1. Happy Wednesday

Lol, I'm still nervous about what he's got planned, but since I'm home to monitor, that made the decision easier. I have to give him the best chance to stay in the good numbers

Thanks Mandy, it's been a while since I've had a low AMPS to deal with, those yellows and pinks were getting a bit too familiar

I have a question, I'm a bit worried, I just shot, and I usually push the syringe again after I remove it, to check whether I got the full dose in, and there was a blood drop , omg did I shoot in a vein? If I did, I assume that would mean faster onset? I can't do anything about it now, but I thought I'd ask.

Gee not sure but it could've been you hit a capillary and not a vein. Get a +1 and +2 if needed. I think it will have a faster effect if it went into a vein but I'm not sure..I just googled it.

Thanks Michelle, I was just searching our forum, and saw another post a while back, I'll monitor his numbers a bit more closely tonight. Might have just nicked a capillary, though he did look up from eating so I knew I had done something wrong .

It’s likely a capillary referred to as a blood shot. I freaked when it happened with Doodles. Nothing notable happened thankfully

"Blood shots" are pretty common. Not to worry. You hit a capillary, as Karen said. I do this from time to time. It has never had an adverse effect.
