Hello,

Djoko's ears are crustry and his hair are falling down.
Have you experienced a similar situation with your car? Will his hair grow back? Too muck poking and it is itchy so he does not him himself by scratching.

Also, I keep feeding him snack so that he does not go into a steep drop but it seems inevitable. At the end of the day, he spend 2 hours in good values because the drop is too intense.

Will time fix this ?

Merci

Djoko has such a great face!

I'm giving this a bump because you may need to take him to the vet. I hope someone with more experience has some ideas about what might be causing it. Are you sure he isn't scratching it when you aren't around? Mites will make them scratch the fur off their ear.

I looked at your spreadsheet and I suspect you aren't on the right dose yet. I can't advise you because I'm new and still trying to get my cat to the right dose. You might want to add "need dose help" to the title.

I looked at this ears this morning and it seems to be healing. He did scrath them which made them worse. It is dry, only scabs and I believe the hair is starting to grow back.
Thank you for your message.

Have you tried putting on some Neosporin pain relief OINTMENT on the ears. That may help
Vet told me to put vitamin E. The scabs are falling down. Let's see if the hair will grow back. He got sick yesterday (pancreatitis flare up) so I am less worried about his ears because they are not infected.
I am just concerned that he will digest the ointment because as soon as I put something on his ears, he washes them.

Sorry to hear about the flare up, I'm sending positive vibes your way.

I'm glad to hear that his ears are healing. That will make him feel better. Are you still having trouble with his glucose dropping?

Yes. His blood glucose levels have not gone down to healthy values in the last days. I sent many BG curves to the vet and she said she would post them on a forum for vet. I hope she finds a solution because he will develop other issues if not resolved. He drops just a bit so always above 15. His ps are to high so he spends hours getting into good levels and then swings back to the red/black!
Thank you for asking.

Maybe you should post a new thread and ask for advice. Does the vet think his pancreatitis is affecting his glucose?

How is he feeling? This must be so stressful for you!
