These bounces are quite normal at the beginning. His body needs to get used to lower numbers. But it happens with time and ECID. Patience is very important here. I hope Bhooma chimes in as well as she's more knowledgeable than me.

Honestly Nancy, some kitties take longer than others to get regulated, to clear bounces faster etc etc. Please don't get discouraged. The struggle is real I know, but the fight is worth it. Please don't give up. We're sending you lots of
