Am I on to something?
I'm scared to think what I'm thinking ...
This morning was the first time Rocky did not need his shot of insulin.
Will test later to see how he's doing.
Keep your fingers and paws crossed for us please.
Happy Easter to all of you.

My thinking is that his pancreas kicked in for a while. This usually isn't an on/off thing, but it "wakes up" and helps keep the levels down even after the insulin is gone. Then it "gets tired" and the fact that the insulin is gone raises the levels. But that it is waking up is great news. It may help in starts and stops but eventually it should work continually. Supporting it with small frequent meals and small doses as needed is a good plan.
Thank you so much, I'll be trying smaller doses when needed.
Small frequent meals are already in place for some time - I think it's quite important.
Feeling positive.
best wishes to you Eliz @Elizabeth and Bertie and Sue @Sue and Oliver (GA)
