Perhaps a furshot last night?
I'm hoping she saves the swim in the lagoon til +6 or +7.

What happened Mauer? Where are the greens? looks like she is taking a break and still bouncing from the AM cycle on the 24th :)

I'm going with my mom today to the vet.. her dog Tess, is going over the rainbow brigde :(

So sorry for your mom's dog :( it can never be an easy decision

Thanks guys :bighug:
It wasn't an easy decision, she's been on pain meds a little over a week now, and still started to behave funny..
So it was time...
:(

I'm so frustrated...
So just out of curiosity I used the old meter it read 2mmol lower, or 36 points.
So the new is running higher witch is fine, but knowing what I know, how can I ever trust the new meter? If it says 70 one dag, I'll know in the back of my mind, using the other meter would be hypo territory. Seriously?!

You'll drive yourself crazy if you compare meters. Numbers can be different with the same meter if you test from the same blood drop with two different strips. Just pick one and go with it.

But I know this, and still....

The question is, are the meters closer together in low numbers where it really counts. Over 200, 36 points is within meter variance, and still too high.

Sending comfort to you and your mother. :bighug:

I think they do. 3.7 on the new meter, 3.3 on the old. So better, but still.
I shouldn't have fallen in this trap, it's stupid :banghead: but the meter is what's keeping her safe... literally! And that's why it feels unsafe :woot:
I'll get my **** together
I know it's too high, and I don't know why. I don't think she'll be high this morning, she's very active o_O

Thanks for the comfort :bighug::bighug:

In wondering if you are not second guessing the new meter just because the stripes are cheaper :p you sabotage yourself :D

think abt it like this: cheaper stripes it means u can test waaay more, therefore Mayer will be safer :)

You're probably right...
