Today, Sinver woke up with a blood sugar of 52, and I had to wait to see how his body would react. Half an hour passed, and it had dropped to 46. I decided to wait again until I had a safe number for his insulin shot. Finally, an hour after his injection, it went up to 70. I gave him the full dose. I'm here near him if he needs anything. I put out his feeders to try before starting work. The feeder opened, containing hydrolyzed chicken treats that he really likes, but he didn't show any interest. He doesn't like new things. I'll keep trying.

Are you taking a reduction based on that 46??
Good luck with the feeder.
I do think it takes time for some cats to get used to them.
Great idea to use it even though you’re home. Hopefully he will get used to it quickly! 💕

I'll have to reset the schedule; it's gone up a lot, and I don't think we can give him the insulin at that time if I get called to work. This schedule isn't good for my husband; I'm considering a reduction. We'll see how it goes with this dose.
 
We aborted our mission to try the feeder; my youngest son came home to chaos. I'll try again tomorrow. Today he didn't have any luck, not even with his hydrolyzed treats. Let's see if we have better luck tomorrow.:arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:
