Slow and steady would be nice. Maverick has hit 4 colours so far. You might try feeding a tsp or two now to flatten him out. Is it about time for his regular feeding? He's not in danger, except for a possible bounce in the morning from the steep drops tonight. I wouldn't give too much at once. In case he keeps dropping, you need him to be a bit hungry.

Thanks Red , I just gave half of his bedtime food, which was about 1/4 can FF, and will check at least +5 and feed a bit more to level him out if needed. And you need your rest

Agree with @Yong. Mav has had a couple similar cycles in the recent past, and his PM nadir looks like it's around +4 or +5 before he starts to head back up.
