Any kind of inflammation/pain can elevate numbers as can vet stress.

Btw, why is he getting only 0.25U and not 0.5U?

Could you please add his date of diagnosis, the name of the meter you are using and what food you are feeding him to your Signature? Thanks!

He is getting 0.25 because I gave him an accidental overdose, but I guess I should come back to 0.5
He was re diagnosed in may and the glucometer is safe AQ Smart.
And about the pain, he is on pain meds since yesternught and it doesn't look like it hurts him

@Teire
To add what Bhooma asked you to add to your signature in her post number 2 above tap on your name above then tap on the word signature add that information and tap save.
Also can you fill in the 2 dates on your spreadsheet 5-20 and 5-21
On your spreadsheet you have
Diagnosed: 2018 and may 2024. ? Which one was it
Is there anyway you can get some more tests in during the night cycle, because you are only seeing half the picture

Didn't notice that I hadn't filled those days in the spreadsheet, thanks.
And ia both 2018 and may 2024, he was first diagnosed in 2018 but I didn't know English and the information available in my language at that time said that home testing wasn't neccesary, now I know it it. He somehow got into remission and then was diagnosed again in May 2024.

On one hand he only allows testing of he's eating, on the other I usually fall asleep relativley early. I'll try to test him before going to bed anyway, thanks
Yes one more test before you go to bed would be helpful :cat:
Please don't forget to add that information to your signature that we need to see

@Teire Thanks

Thanks. The 911 is reserved for hypos or emergencies. I understand why you added it as you did t know what to do. But try the question mark prefix first along with editing the subject before resorting to it if not an emergency and remove it when you get a reply. Don’t hesitate to add the 911 if an emergency though.

I didn't know which prefix to use since his BG was so high, sorry. I had to do test 2 times at AMPS so the glucometer would show something other than HI (>600)

Tonight his PMPS is 502 mg/dL after not eating this midday, I gave him his usual dinner ration and 0.5 U

I know. Don’t worry about it. You want to use the “?” next time.

Good you went back to .50. Days

194 at +3, I had to feed him what he didn't eat at +6 tho and gave him his pill.
I'll keep him on 0.5 for now
