Well, Emmett is definitely bouncing this morning. And in response to last night...yes, I wanted to check after the 70 at +5, I set an alarm, but characteristically, hit snooze, and I didn't get a check until +9...

I don't think he got to low as his +9 was 203, but I really would have liked to know his +6 :(

I guess we'll have to wait to see his PM cycle as I think this one will be shot.

And, I'll just be using the mg/dL values from now on since everyone here is use to that and the spreadsheet has both, no biggy for me to post those instead.

I'm sorry, I didn't get the tag for some reason, and I wasn't online last night. It's a good idea to keep track of what you feed and when in your SS, so you can refer back and see what you did and what carbs helped. I didn't see another test after the 70, it was almost mid-cycle, but when I see drops like that into green, I usually feed, and get another test about an hour later, just to make sure there isn't more dropping going on and that he's surfing or coming up.

Christie, you asked me in yesterday's post. I track all my food in the mmol/L tab because I'm from the North and my meter is in mmol/L. All the food is tracked as a google sheets "comment", so if you hover over the 3.75 (or whatever the dose is) you'll see what's been fed.

I basically feed wellness and sometimes Blue Wilderness. But, between the 2 foods I'd say it doesn't make much of a difference. Just seems like the act of eating raises his BG slightly. I'm sure if it was gravy food, it would change.

Ah, ok...I'm from the North too ;), so those mmol/L numbers make sense to me. I'm glad you are keeping track of the feedings; just FYI...the "comment" function doesn't work for others viewing (or at least it doesn't work for me), I think because you are the owner and have editing rights, but I am read only and can't click or hover on anything. That's why I usually put the food in the remarks field, though more recently after looking at a few people's spreadsheets, I liked how some others do it, where they put the food right in the cell with the BG reading, so I've started doing that. It makes it easier for me at a quick glance to see vs. reading through all my remarks.

Hope Emmett clears his bounce quickly, at least he gets a bit of a pokie break, for the am cycle anyway :)

Get off the trampoline! That's a bigger bounce than 2 nights ago when he hung in the greens for 4 hours. Hope he clears it quickly .

I wonder if this bigger bounce is more so due to the bigger drop from PMPS to +3 last night?

Just thinking out loud, Rob, since I know how tough those bounces are to manage. Sometimes catching the drop at +2 and feeding helps to reduce the chance of higher bounces. Well...that's in my experience with Maverick, but only sometimes ;)

Ya, I’m thinking you’re right. He seems to be settling out today. Better than expected at least.

@Christie & Maverick , you can’t see my comments? I edited the privacy on my spreadsheet, everyone should be able to see them (on mmol only)

From the frozen North too. I can read both numbers. I would say that drop last night was a steep one and maybe made for a bigger bounce this round.

Emmett's body will adjust eventually. Looking good though! Looks like night time is his action cycle for now.
