Looks like Trix is in full-on bounce mode after yesterday's drop down to 50. Ok...let's have Missy FlatCat back, please!

We're taking Petey to the vetty at 10:40 this morning. He is definitely not eating right - he'll only take a bit or two, then walk or run away. He wants to eat, but it's bothering him. He's not pawing at his face or wimpering, and he is otherwise acting completely normal, but something is obviously going on with his mouth. As a recap, he had a dental with 2 extractions (left side for both - upper and lower molars) almost two weeks ago. And, this is poor Petey's 4th vetty visit so far this year. Beans cannot buy a break....

We really lucked out with this storm - we only got 5 or 6 inches. That's still more than I care for, but far better than what the poor people to the north of us are dealing with. Unfortunately this puts DH in a time crunch in getting us dug out for Petey's appointment. Prayers going out to those who are buried with this evil white stuff.

With work after the vetty, then fuds shopping after work, I might not get to many condos today...but I'll be thinking of everyone. Have a great day, LL!

Amy, I'm sorry Petey is uncomfortable. I hope he feels better very soon!
Trixie, come down safely from that bounce!

I hope all goes well today for you guys!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

Bummer on the bounce, but it looks like Trixie is clearing it well. Very nice on the greens yesterday.

Good luck with Petey - I hope all is OK, and whatever is bothering him is easily treatable. I can so relate to all those vetty visits. By now Mannie could drive himself there, he knows the way. Sending good vetty vines to Petey!

Good to read that you survived the storm and that things are not too bad there. Good luck with the dig-out, and getting Petey to the vet.

Enjoy your day today. :-D

Keep coming down, Trixie, no reason to be up there. Vines for Petey, poor guy. That's about what we got, 5" but it's light and fluffy. Would DH like to use our snowblower?

Morning Amy, sending many healing vines for Petey at the Vet. Will be thinking of you today. Trixie will clear the bounce. Glad you didn't get as much snow as originally forecast. Good luck with all you have to do, sounds busy today. Hugs.

Hi Amy,

Sending good, strong, healing vines to Petey. I hope that his mouth will feel better soon and that the vetty can pinpoint the problem.

Hope DH got your driveway cleared without problems. We got a nice snowfall here. Skiing and snowshoeing will be good.

Hugs from us,

Ella & Rusty

She's working clearing that bounce. I accidentally hit the vein with that last pokie  ...sorry Trix!

DH does have a snow blower...it makes snow removal much quicker, but still no fun. The novelty of the snow blower wore off years ago...

Just got back from the vetty. Petey's extractions are healing beautifully - no infection or anything like that. He did have a little piece of food caught in the remaining sutures, and it's possible that was irritating him...he is really very sensitive. She removed the food and sutures, and hopefully that's that. I'm sure his gum is a little irritated from the fussing. Everything else in his mouth looked normal, and his jaw does not seem painful at all. Soooo...once again, we wait.

DH just said he's eating a little bit now. I have to head to work, so DH will keep me updated throughout the day.

I'm glad it was nothing but a bit of stuck food. I hope his appy is back to normal now.

Drive slowly.

We only got 3 to 4 inches and it's all melting away :( already.

Thanks for the good news report on Petey. So glad it was just the stuck particle of food, and he's now eating better. Sending healing vines and hugs to Petey, and hugs and scritches to Trixie.

HI Amy

Boing boing boing ....Miss Trixie, come on off that trampoline.

I'm glad Petey only had irritating piece of food stuck in suture, and it's been cleared out.

Glad Trix came down some from her bounce.

Hopefully that is all that was bothering Petey and he will be eating normally now!
