Morning LL

So I am not giving Sebastian the hairball gel today and opened a can of pumpkin instead...100% pumpkin not pumpkin pie filling lol. I never heard before yesterday that this could be effective for hair balls but I'm game. As for Fish Oil for the skin issue..or possible skin issue. This has been suggested to me before here(Rachel) and off board -vet-and by Hillary. Does it come in capsules or what? Where do you get yours Rachel? What brand? Anyone else use it for allergies? That must help with hairballs too, no?

I'm just little Miss Question today...but I don't want to mess Mr. Purrbox up cat_pet_icon

I've applied for the International Desk at my job and since I recently took the training for it and have been utilized as backup, that would mean I would get weekends of IF I were to be picked.(UNJINX UNJINX)! It's scary..my last call last night was to a place I never heard of nailbite_smile so it's hard to be AS professional as I'm used to being but..I can learn! And weekends off. Even if I'd still work till 9 to start I haven't had weekends off in well over a year!!!! Think good thoughts for me if you can spare them (paws crossed)

Anyhow..All of Mr. P's P's are A-OK and he is taking his pares breffis snooze.

I don't have any answers for you with regards to using pumpkin as I've never used it. Hoping that Sebastian's #s come down, and he surfs nicely for you. Good luck on your job!!! Have a great day! :-D

Good Morning Caryl! Sorry, I should have sent you the brands last night, I was sleepy and not thinking straight. Doses are written on the info for the products. The one recommended to me on here by several people was Nordic Naturals: Nordic Fish Oil

Currently I'm using one formulated for CRF cats which is more expensive but has CoQ10 in it; in case you're interested it's here:
Astros Oil

The other brand I tried I got in a local health food store for felines was the brand Ascenta, but I had a hard time getting Chyna to eat that one, even in fuds.

Sebastian is looking very handsome today in blue :-D Good luck on the new job with better hours :razz: .

Thanks the info and shhhhhh i only applied i didn't get it. The job I mean.

So DO you put the oil in food or do you syringe it? Oil usually turns cats off when you put it in food

Hi Caryl,
I tried fish oil once on Rusty and it turned out that he was very allergic to it (fish allergies are apparently common in cats). So easy does it at first until you know how Sebastian behaves.

Good luck with getting that job!! Fingers and paws crossed.

Check the end of yesterdays condo ;-) Mixed in fuds :-D Chyna doesn't like it by itself and won't take it off a spoon :o Some people syringe it in the cheek, I think...

Kitties lick up their fish oil. Remember that Neko is a hoover and has hardly met any food she doesn't like. The civie doesn't complain either - they don't otherwise get anything with fish in it so maybe it's a treat.

I'm sorry I don't have any answers to your questions, but those are some impressive numbers today for Mr Purrbox! Good luck with the job situation. I know how you feel about having weekends off. Since opening the store 8 years ago, I've only had a few - the weekends that fell during vacations. For long time, I didn't mind it, but I think I want normal weekends like everyone else has again!

For me it's necessary. I have no life. If you're trying to date tell someone you have Sunday and Monday off and that you work until 9PM the other nights :roll:
