Good Morning, Everyone,

Looks like Rusty bounced a bit (probably a combination of going low yesterday, when I wasn't home, and a short shot because of syringe problems last night). But I think he'll be back on track again soon. He did get up a small hairball yesterday, so that's a plus. This morning the usual morning routine went well: test, shoot + breakfast (Wellness Turkey). He is at present chillaxin' on his bed by the radiator. I'm going to go downstairs to see if he wants a game when I finish this.

Not much on the calendar today. I had wanted to go on another snowshoe hike with some friends, but today is the day I take Edward to the chiropractor, and a DH without pain takes precedence. So I will do some chores today (cleaning, shopping, making peanut-butter-chocolate bars for a party on Saturday. (Winter Carnival ends with a parade on Sat. and our group is having a potluck afterwards. Actually, some of us are going to skip the parade and go to see the Met HD broadcast of Goetterdaemmerung in Lake Placid instead. But we'll all be at the potluck. The high on Sat. is supposed to be 5 degrees F., so I'll be just as happy not to be standing in one place for 3 hours watching the parade!)

Everyone have a good day. We are sending positive thoughts and healing vines to Sid, Rocket, Terra, and all other kitties who need them.

Come on down Rusty! Not a bad bounce, but you can do better than that. He is so predictable that I'm sure he will be down in no time.

Sounds like a relaxing day is on tap for you Ella! The weekend sounds great too, but brrrrr. I'm too wimpy for that cold anymore. Have a wonderful day!

Re: 2/9 Rusty AMPS 145

Hope you're having a great game with Rusty and that he gets back to his green lagoon soon, the lagoon isn't the same place without him.

Re: 2/9 Rusty AMPS 145

Morning! not a bad bounce at all - I'll take it! I am sure he will be back to green soon. Smart kitty - sleeping in his bed by teh radiator - it's cold out, and he knows it!

yummmmm - peanut-butter-chocolate bars .... I'll be right over!

Have a good day today, especially with all those chores. FUN! Saturday sounds great!

Once again, not a bad bounce! Rusty isn't really napping you know, that is kitty meditation to bring his BG back down to make the beans happy!

Very nice bounce there Rusty! :-D I hope he decides to come back down to his usual greens.

It sounds like you'll have a busy day on your hands, does Edward enjoy going to the chiropractor? I especially love going to get my neck adjusted, nothing beats that! Yes, i agree 5F might be a little too cold to stand outside for any length of time. It was a chilly -44C at work this morning......brrrrrrr.

Have a great day Ella and Rusty ;-)

Re: 2/9 Rusty AMPS 145, +5.5 106

Hi again,
Rusty is coming down, so no need to pull on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ropes

It's quite mild today and Rusty went outside to slide on the ice while watching the squirrels at the bird feeder. He ran back inside when his feet got cold. After lunch we had a great game with the gitter/tinsel wand, the crinkle sack, the beat-up and broken down coffee box, and assorted mice. Now Rusty Russ is taking his "down time" in his cube (which is bathed in sunshine). Edward and I are about to leave for the chiropractor.

Tracy: this chiropractor is a real genius and has helped Edward's recalcitrant back/neck/shoulder immensely. He's only been going to him for about 4 months and has much less pain and much greater mobility.
Tracy: Goetterdaemmerung is the 4th music drama of Wagner's Ring. There is a live in HD broadcast of it this Saturday. It is being broadcast all over the world. You can see it in Saskatoon at the Galaxy Cinemas Saskatoon. Check out this link:

Off to the chiropractor,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella. How nice of Rusty to give his beans permission to go out. :-D

I'm really pleased that Edward found a chiro doc that helps him. I say that, because I get the feeling you live in the country, where it's not so easy to find specialists that are good.
Actually I think your area sounds lovely.
I live in farm country. Good docs are all over an hour away. where the money is. :YMSIGH:

A good "adjustment" for Edward at the chiropractor. A great play for Rusty when we got home. And he even got to go outdoors because it was sunny and pretty mild this afternoon. He walked the perimeter of the house (the snow had receded and the paving bricks were bare), sniffing at everything and really enjoying himself.
Today was a "rest" day with regard to bgs. I had thought it was going to be a gradual decline to PMPS, but not quite. Rusty is picking at his food, waiting for FF T&G!! He's really disappointed that he hasn't gotten any yet today (his numbers weren't low enough!). But he'll have his usual T&G snack at bedtime and then he'll be happy.

Wishing you all a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

That's a nice cycle today for Rusty, even with the little bounce. Oh I'm so glad Rusty got his FF T & G. I should indulge Mags with it as she hasn't eaten it in a while. Sounds like Edward found a good chiropractor. So nice Rusty goes outdoors. While you are having brrr temps, we are having close to 80, a little warm this time of year but nice. Have a good night.
