How often did your Cats have seizures? Did you give them anything for the seizures? What did you do with them when the seizure started? How old were your Kitties?
I don't remember how often the first one was having seizures when she had an inconclusive workup by a neurologist at the vet school; by the end (after 3-4 months?), she was having them every eight hours. Although she seemed normal several hours after a seizure, I had her euthanized when they got so close that there was only an hour or two of "normal" time before one would start again--I was scared to sleep, scared to go to work, you know how it is. She would flop a few feet in the air and bounce off the walls, so I was afraid she would be injured if I wasn't there. I would spread my hands about a foot above her so she couldn't flop very far; restraining too tightly can cause injuries (I've read that restraining humans having a seizure can break their bones!).
She had advanced kidney disease and the vet recommended subq fluids in case toxins were causing it, but I didn't give her any other treatment. When she came to live with me, her age was estimated by her previous people to be 8-12 years, which would have made her 19-23 when she died.
The other kitty had only two seizures that I know of, four months apart. The vet did not recommend any treatment. She was 14 when she had the seizures, and died of kidney disease almost five years later.
There's a little more about them in
this post I wrote when Ravan had his first(?) seizure.
Hope tomorrow is another good day for you and your kitties!
