Yesterday's flat blues.

2/8 Recap:
AMPS 127 +8.5 129
PMPS 111 +5.5 172

Happy Family Day everyone! (aka bogus holiday put in there by the local government to break up the gap between Christmas and Easter). Neko started whining for breffs a little early - but that's OK. I'm in the process of moving up PS time by 3/4 of an hour for a meeting on Wednesday night. All quiet in the house now, and even better, all quiet in the neighbourhood this holiday. I've finished my btb and rowing machine workout, Neko is still catching up on her btb.

We've had a few purr breakouts - Neko likes hanging out in mid blues, though I'd rather she sprinkle in a couple of greens to keep me happy. The day started out looking like it had solarium possibilities, then the next front moved in. Neko liked the morning weather too, and went outside for a brief sniff session. She didn't get very far before the drizzle started. Sigh! I keep looking at the crocuses blooming to remind myself that spring it on it's way.

Family Day, we need one, too! You Canadians are so much more reasonable about holidays, better day for Thanksgiving, Boxing Day. Looking good, Neko, thank you for the blue. Can you throw in a bit of green for Anne?
Liz

Hi Wendy,
Nice numbers for Neko so far today.

I see in my "pocket pal" calendar that Family Day is a British Columbia holiday--not an all-Canada holiday. How great that the contractor in the back took the day off! How do you like your new Concept II? I've been working out on ours all winter, since I haven't been able to ski or snowshoe (that's going to change tomorrow!). Hope you did get some sunshine today. Crocusses!!!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Humming along in those low blues. No sun other than the hint first thing this morning. Neko is out in the solarium enjoying her basket with it's blue fleece, all to the sound of rain.

@ Carla, Liz, Ella - still waiting for greens, but lower blues are OK too. (don't tell her I said that!). There is a Family Day in Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan next Monday. BC likes to be different. It just started as a holiday last year.
@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) - The indoor rower is a hard workout, can't slack off and let someone else in the boat take over. :p The view's not that great either. I'm also using my gelpad seat cover that I use in the rowing shells, as the Concept II rower seat is an odd shape. But I am getting back in shape again for when we go on the water. And now we'll have something to fall back on if practice is cancelled due to weather.

I have a nice view of the furnace! I use a gelpad seat cover, too.

Wow. All this talk about exercise has me wanting...to take a nap. Maybe a snack first!

Neko, you have the right idea. Resting away in your blue fleece in the solarium. Oh, now, where did I put that blue fleece throw for the sofa?

Nice steady day for the girl today. Good. Hope you all have a nice steady night.

I'm with Marilyn. I have a theory on exercise - it causes injuries so best not attempt it!

Happy Family Day Wendy!

Don't you want to celebrate with some green Neko?

What a beautiful blue streak for Miss Neko! :joyful: Happy Family Day--anything to make Mr.Excacator guy go away! :p Hey Wendy, you could set up the Concept II so you get a nice view of Mr Excavator guy

We had sunshine for 2 minutes at sunrise-- but on a happier note, it is getting earlier and you will be on the water again pretty soon! :cat:

Lovely day in the low blues. I don't know why we beans are so darned greedy. We really should learn to be grateful for things like that. ;):p

Hooray for another excavatorless day! Maybe you can slip him a note that it's actually Family Week this year?

Oooh, that rowing machine sounds like way too much work. I finally got a workout in today. I only did a one mile aerobics tape and I was whipped. I seriously need to get back in shape (she said as she raised another bourbon ball to her lips).

I'm with Marilyn and Vyktors Mum on this one, sounds way too energetic but good luck anyway. Sun is shining here, cold but bright so just off to take the hound for a very leisurely stroll. Nice colours Neko.
