Good Day LL!

Morgaine had a lovely green surf all night and i was up checking on her and feeding her 10%. I slept in my big chair and we had a very good night. I did clean the rug with the my new Bissell light steamer and it is very easy to use. If I can use it a child can use it.

The prozac arrived in the mail today. I am feeling a bit apprehensive about giving this to her but the peeing is really bad and i am not sure how much longer i can handle the clean up involved. It is a constant battle to clean it up. I hope it works for her.
She is on 3.5 mg 1x day. I thought it would be 2.5 mg but they must go by her weight and she is 14lb 8 oz.

As soon as I finished cleaning the rug she pee'd on it. Then after i sprayed it with the icky poo stuff she put her body down on top of it and got wet. So, I took out my foamy spay "bath" and proceeded to clean her tummy and she hissed and hissed and well, you get the picture...... I just want my girl back. Seems we are at odds with one another a lot lately. i need to to keep her safe and clean and she could care less.

Will let you all know how the Prozac goes.

Re: 2/9 Morgaine AMPS 156

Hi guys .. love hearing morgaine had a nice surf last night! Her amps today is pretty too .. sorry to hear about the pee accidents still happening .. I know that must be tiring .. Let's hope the prozac works for her .. I don't have any experience myself, but maybe others here know if it is dosed on weight?

Good luck with the prozac, Rosalie. I really hope this helps Morgaine. I wish we knew what she was thinking. Sending good luck vines.

Oh my. I hope the prozac eases whatever is working on Morgaine. It seems to have been just the ticket for some other kitties who developed issues.

The green surf was great!

Gosh, I hope the Prozac helps. If it doesn't or if she doesn't respond well you can always stop it, no worries.

I wanted to mention to you one other thing we did with Bailey, was LB retraining. I kept her in one room with 2 LBs (I fed her on a shelf to keep her food away from the potties) for a week. She reliably used the box that whole time so I let her back out (and of course we visited her regularly). I hated to do it, but I do think it may have helped. I know you are in a 1 BR apartment so this may not be feasible for you, I just wanted to throw it out there. Good luck! :YMHUG:

Thanks Melissa. I can't do that since I don't have a room to put her in. I have put 2 litter boxes out, one with the litter she last used and one with Feline Pine, her original litter. The vet said to give her a choice. I am not starting the prozac until tomorrow night since I am going to be out all afternoon, Friday and I do not want to leave her alone until i know how it effects her. She did poo in her LB tonight, the Dr. Elsey's litter.

We may be up for an active night again since her PMPS was 110 but I like her in that range.
