Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Coffee is on, Lola and Bug , founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are ready to go! Want pizza? it is MEGA GOOD! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET!, and perfect for a fall day. OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts standard with every delivery!

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was good, kinda mellow, but kinda busy too. The car thing/recall was a pain, but the coffee time spent while waiting was nice! I hung out at Starbucks, ordered this big huge mocha, and read for a while. A nice mellow time. I will try not to be irritated with Honda, but wow, hard to do. Bottom line they didn't have the part to do the repair, they should have called, add didn't, so it was a wasted trip, and I will need to go back. again! This is the 5th trip, or will be, for this airbag recall. :roll: :roll: :roll: :shock: Once home, I decided to head on down to the shore, just to get out some. It's been so cold that alot of the creek was frozen. It really was very pretty, and I came home with some nice photos of Lund's Gulch Creek, iced up. COOL! Here's what I wrote in last night's post about the day: "What a crazy day.... to sum up the car appt: grr_red angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat grr_red angry(2)_cat grr_red angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: Ok, I get here, get checked in, and since it was a two hour appt I decided to go the coffee shop, wait some there, have some good ~O) , read a bit, and then check back with them in a hour plus some. So I get back there only to have the service guy meet me at the door, and tell me they didn't have the part, and couldn't fix the car. HUH???? no Part? What a waste of my time as far as that goes... When I made the appt, they confirmed that they had the part... shesshhhh! Even if they didn't, and had to order it, with their assuming that it would be in by the time I came in for the appt, one would think that they'd verify that before I got there. The guy says it was coming out of Portland. I know Portland has had some sever weather, nothing is moving on the freeways due to snow and freezing rains. I can accpet that, but couldn't they have called to reschedule the appt? Maybe I'm wrong, but if it were my shop I'd confirm parts are in the day before when one knows the service being performed will need a specific part. Oh well... so it goes it guess. SO we wait, once again, for a call that they have the part and maybe then I can get this recall off my to do list. maybe. :roll: :roll: :roll: The time at the coffee shop was nice, and I really enjoyed that. I got home, and felt pretty good, still don't really have the boys cold, so I went out on a shore walk. It Was sunny when I went out, lost that half way though, but did encounter some very pretty ice formations at the creek. I had a great time there. WOOT! I will post those images in the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo. ENJOY YOUR EVENING EVERYONE!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: The kitties were GOOD kitties yesterday, even Lola. :shock: Well, sorta on Lola.... Lola will always be Lola. :roll: She was one wound up crazy cat yesterday. The runs are always a constant thing here, but wow on yesterday. She flew through the house, careening around corners, sliding on the kitchen floor, flew over furniture. NUTS! She'd finish up with a wide legged stance all wide eyed and bushy tailed, with this loud MEOW! Crazy cat! Bug and Elsa were visibly thinking: I SO DO NOT KNOW HER!.... She was a good girl though after shopping, and made sure she played in the paper bag like she should. :lol: Our cold still continues, so Bug and Elsa continue to hibernate. I can't say that I blame them! This morning Lola is camped out on my lap, sounds asleep, purring.... Such a sweetie she can be. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... to the shore if it isn't too cold, or wet, out there. We did get some snow last night, maybe and inch or so. Sure looks pretty out there. I suspect though that it won't last... we are warming throughout the day, rains due late tonight. I think I will have to get out and play some before it all goes away. :cool:

I hate waiting for parts, too, so I know where you're coming from, Michelle. I hope that they get the part in very soon, and get this rectified quickly, and efficiently. I'm glad you had a wonderful time at Starbucks, though. Lovely photos! :-D I hope you have a wonderful day. Sending tons of "get-that-part-in-for-Michelle-guys!" vibes for you. :YMHUG:

Those are great pics of the ice patterns. Isn't it amazing how many shapes ice can take in nature? I'm glad you got out for your walk, even though you had a frustrating morning the car place. You would have thought that they would have told you the moment you walked in that the part wasn't there!! Oh well, at least you had some good coffee (but was it as good as Elsa's?).

p.s. to Elsa. That expresso sure tastes good while watching the Olympics. Rusty wants to remind you that Olympic Curling starts tomorrow. The LL Sliders Curling Club is meeting to watch the matches and get some good pointers.
 
Nice pictures of the ice on the creek. I hope next time is the last time you have to take you car in for the recall. Wouldn't you love to have Lola's energy? :lol:
 
Morning everyone! Finally we have our winter wonderland here. 2" of snow! well, that is alot for us. I went out early to take a neighborhood walk, venture up to the coffee shop. It was just nice to hang out there for a bit, hot ~O) in hand. I will head on out here shortly to venture on down to the shore and see what the snows have done to the shoreline. So so hoping it is a winter wonderland there too. I suspect that most folks have not gone there yet today. well, we shall see... :cool:

Happy afternoon! Sadly our snow is beginning to melt.... bummer! It was nice to have for a change. I did make it out for a shore hike, nice! It was fun to see how the snow transformed the familiar. There weren't too many people out either. Seems that I missed most of them, judging from the foot prints in the snow those that did go went in the morning. It has been cloudy here all day, but no more snow, nor the rains that are due. Well, no matter. I am done for the day, it has been a good one, time to rest and uinwind to amke sure I don't get Nichoals's cold. SO far.... looking good! Enjoy your evening everyone. I will post the Picassa link to today photos in tomorrows condo.
 
Wow, I wish I had Lolas energy! I could get so much done! :lol: Good girl to give that paper bag a workout. I don't blame the other kittehs for wanting to hibernate and stay warm. I hope they are having some nice catnip and mouse dreams ;-) . Did you play in the snow? I play in it too, if you count shovelling, haha. I hope you had fun on your walk/hike. Hi Rachel - I know! ME TOO! Her energy level is endless.... :shock: :cool: I so agree too on the others. They know it is cold out, and then this white sutff showed up and they are all in a tither! :lol: :lol: So back to bed for them all, no doubt dreaming of sunny warm beaches. Yes, I did go play in the snow - one short walk up to my coffee shop and then later on a short woods to shore hike here by the house. Great fun! THX on tonight - one for chillin'. :cool:
 
I wish I had Lola's energy, too! I love the cat crazies...several of mine are like that and it is always so entertaining. Trix is mellow, though...she has the Elsa and Bug attitude going on :lol: !

Big bummer about the car. I'd have visible steam coming out of my ears...time is way too precious to waste like that! I hope you are able to truly get it fixed without being given the run-around next time.

Sorry to hear about the car part debacle. I'm with you on the 'making sure they had the part in because the appointment' thing! At least you got to read a bit and get some coffee...all of which you could have done at home, surrounded by kitties. Ok, with Lola being Lola...maybe it was nice getting out of the house a bit! :lol: :lol: :lol: Sleep well, Michelle. Prayers that they get the car part in ASAP! (p.s. the first time I typed that, I typed "caT part". Made myself :lol: :lol: )
 
Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Me too on Lola's energy, I'd take even just a small portion of that. ;-) Cat crazies are fun, aren't they. makes life interesting, just watching her be crazy. yes too on the car - more than annoying. So we wait on that, again. I so hope that they have it al together, and that they call soon. I'd sure like to get this off my to do list. Paws crossed!

Hi Deborah ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp,, agreed on the car. so so annoying! I did enjoy the coffee time, so all was not lost. LOL on being able to do that at home with the kitties! :-D Probably more than true on that part. oh Lola... such a reputation you have. Oh haha on the "caT part". That made me laugh. I can so see myself typing that. Cats rule over cars anyways. :cool:
