We boosted Leo's Lantus from 4.5u to 5u on 2/7 and the result has been consistently high, flat and pink, with an occasional very high yellow at night. It's been six cycles, so I'm ready to go up to 5.5 in the morning unless something nice happens during tonight's mini curve.
Can an upper respiratory infection affect a cat's BG numbers? He's been sneezy for about a week, nothing severe, maybe once an hour he'll sneeze once, and once or twice a day he'll sneeze three or four times in a row. If I take him to the vet for this, I might as well have them do a urine culture at the same time for UTI. Is there anything else we should look for while we're there?
Other than the constant pink garb, big guy has been happy, snuggly, and partaking liberally of 4 and occasionally 5Ps. But man, 5.5u. [GULP]
I have to leave the house for a couple hours (going to the gym for my first workout in over a month).
