Have you though more of our discussion of the possibility of R? If so, you can check out getting it at someplace like Walmart. I've heard it's something like $25 a vial there. @Howiesmom or @Lisa & Oberon could give you more current prices and best place to buy.

You are likely seeing some New Dose Wonkiness now, hopefully better numbers tomorrow. I remember one other acromom comment that her cat being flat as a pink pancake.

I got it at CVS; it was more expensive than Walmart ($40, maybe?) but closer, and I was impatient. It's behind the pharmacy counter but no prescription needed.

I get mine at Walmart for about $25-27. Just tell them you need NOVOLIN R (Not Humulin R) and they have it in the fridge behind the pharmacy counter. No prescription needed! Howie hasn’t had any since Jan. 19 but you’ll definitely need coaching to get started and adjusting the scales.
