I ain't sayin' nuthin' about these numbers today :mrgreen: ...other than my itchy trigger finger has settled down.

Time to get ready for work again already. I survived yesterday's horrific students (barely), and (anti-jinx) the rest of the weekend should be smooth sailing.

DH is home keeping an eye on things...but I think we're good to go.

I'm not receiving any notifications from the board...it was a problem both yesterday and now today. Is anyone else having this problem??

Liz...you have no idea. I have to keep it clean because this is a family site....but they constantly interrupted me during my demos, challenged my information (a challenge they couldn't possibly win), and I actually had to tell two of them to stop hammering so I could complete my demo and explanation. One of them plopped herself down in the seat I was obviously about to use for a demo - I had to ask her to move. Unreal. I had taught them before, so I was mentally prepared for the class....but they are really horrible, horrible, people - to put it politely. I am sure you can imagine what REALLY runs through my head about these women. I hope they never darken our doorway again...

Oh, that is sad. And they pay for this class? Wouldn't you think they would want it to be as useful as possible? They must be getting something else out of it.

Yup, they do pay for it. You'd think they want the benefit of my years of experience. The one woman in particular is very arrogant, and has the "I'm paying you, so you are my slave" type attitude. She obviously thinks she knows everything (she does not), needs to feel like she's in charge (she is not when she is in MY class), and thinks she commands/demands her friends look up to her. Of course, I'm very good at putting on a fake smile (years of retail will do that to you!) while disproving anything she attempted to challenge, and while putting her in her place. Still, I have very "negative feelings" towards her....again, I'm being polite :lol: !

Morning Amy! I'm getting notifications, but they are from info@limestonemedia...maybe your email is blocking? Just a thought...I was weirded out but the subject was Chyna blah blah so I opened them...

Anyways, yay for the lagoon today! Go Trixie! :mrgreen: I hope she gives daddy bean a nice green day but without too many pokies ;-)

I don't understand why someone would pay money to go to a class and act like a jerk. It's too bad you can't just ask them to not return...blech on jerk people. (and I can't think of very many non swears to use here, either :lol: ). Hope you have a great Caturday! :-D

yikes on the non-charming customers! i'd be tempted to lay out ground rules before the next class. as in, we don't interrupt the teacher. :shock:

i only have my setting to get email notifications if i have a pm, so don't know. i know Donaleen had said in the past she never gets notifications on Ozy's condo and she'd messaged back and forth with admins about it, but it never got resolved. not sure if that's related to what you've got going on or not.

hope your class is better today! Trixie is looking awesome!

@Caryl - I co-own a bead store, so I teach jewelry making. Yesterday's class was metalsmithing - a fine silver bangle project. I also teach other jewelry making techinques....wirework, enameling, stringing, beadweaving...all sorts of fun stuff. Of course, it's not so fun with the students are obnoxious (which you'd think you wouldn't get with a hobby-based class...but you'd be surprised!), but fortunately most of them aren't like that.

I can't imagine why people that are learning something that they want to learn would give you a hard time. People are so strange :roll:

I haven't gotten notifications for a very long time now.
and I miss them.... I thought Robert was still working on it. but unsuccessful....

I haven't gotten notifications the past couple of days. I thought I was just forgetting to check the "notify me" box, but perhaps not. I just checked my spam folder and found the problem - they are coming from Info@limestonemedia.com, and were going into spam. I added that address, so hopefully my problem is fixed. Check your spam folder.

Great numbers for Trixie. Hope she surfs smoothly for her daddy bean. :mrgreen:
