Snuggly Skooter Condo (02/04)

Welpers, once again I am playing catch-up

We started our second pen this morning, the first lasting from 10/24/14 until last night. Woot woot! I will be curious to see what that does with his numbers :nailbiting::D:cat:

Skooter is doing amazingly!! Here is a recap of his last few days:

02/05:
AMPS - 115
PMPS - 116

+3 - 84

02/06:
AMPS - 109
PMPS - 160

+2 - 90
+5.25 - 80

02/07:
AMPS - 97
+8 - 100
PMPS - 124

+5.5 - 77
+6.25 - 76

+8.75 - 101

With the exception of that 160 PMPS on 02/06, I am very pleased with his numbers. I get the 160 isn't too bad, but I really enjoy the lower numbers :):cat:

We, and by we, I of course mean me, has had a very busy weekend. I got to spend yesterday morning helping a friend pick out some paint colors for her kitchen and bedroom and her bathroom (it is the kind of thing I LOVE to do). Got home, cleaned out my ENTIRE car, which I hate to admit was more of an ordeal than it should have been and then last night my sister hosted a Paint and Wine party at her house. We had tons of fun and we are already looking for a pattern for the next time we do it! And the best thing is that they look so much better in the cel phone pictures lolol We also learned that dark chocolate does not sit well in Ms. Lana (my great niece)'s tummy as she projectile vomited it on me about 5 minutes after she ate it.

This morning, we shall do brunch and then I am back home to get my creative juices following to make some cards for the fundraiser as so many ideas are just floating around my head.

Skooter's appy is pretty much back to normal. I think I was feeding him TOO much, so now that I have lessened his food a little bit, he is doing much better with it. He is currently sleeping on my pillows and I think I shall go join him for a bit :)

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Fantastic report, Molly. Isn't it great that Skooter's doing so well you can get back to having a life beyond ear pokes.

Can I take a moment to share Skooter's obsession?

So last week, when at the grocery store, I purchased a bag of baked cheddar sour cream chips and a bag of baked Cheetos. I opened the cheadder sour cream first and for a week he could care less and I was allowed to eat them in piece. Then a few days ago I opened the bag of baked Cheetos and my God he ran from whatever corner of the house he was in and was in my face. Every time the bag opens, he comes running, he has tried to swat baked Cheetos out of my hand, he has tried to paw his way into the bag AND has tried to chew his way through the bag. Even now, I tried to be very quiet while opening the bag and grabbing a few, and his ears perked up, like he was waiting for more....he doesn't care about regular Cheetos, Doritos or anything like that, but wants every last damn baked Cheetos he could find. I am not sure what it is about them that he likes so much, but it is very annoying. I guess from now if I want backed Cheetos, then I need to buy them and bring them to work to eat, so they can be eaten in peace.

I am wondering how low he went today seeing as +3.5 was 77, +7.75 was 92 and PMPS jumped to 142.....he did not eat all of his food, so that could be why the 142. It is always interesting when you start a new bottle/pen to see what it does. The last time it was a bottle, so we had it much longer, so maybe there will not be as much a change as the last pen was after six months of a bottle and the new pen is after about 3 1/2 months.

He is currently settled in on the couch snoozing away.....my sweet lil bug :)

Had a fun breakfast with my sisters and great-niece....and of course she got spoiled  Two outfits, four small hardcover Dr. Seuss books and a Grumpy Care Bear later, home she went with grandma lol

Excellent news all around - except the projectile vomit bit - ugh

I wonder if you can use the Cheetos to manage the lows hahahaha - just kidding!

Looking good, Skooter! Great report and sounds like you had fun...except for the chocolate projectile vomiting.:eek:

What an obsession!

Seriously, he woke up from a DEAD SLEEP when I tried to quietly open the bag...apparently the bag of Baked Cheetos makes a different noise than any other bag....It is one of the other things that he will get a bit insistent on getting, however he has not gotten it since pre diagnosis. Crazy kitty!

Hrmmmm...it appears Skooter might be changing from his super early nadir to a more typical one....I will have to get in a few more tests the next few nights to see...
