Good Friday Morning, Everyone,
Yesterday Rusty had a string of flat middle blues and a low blue at bedtime, so I expected that he would be back in green this morning. Wrong! He went up instead of down. Maybe he went low last night and is bouncing. Whatever. He's a cat! I was woken up in the middle of the night with ear licks and kitty kisses. By this morning he had finished all his nighttime food. He went tearing downstairs. We had a good test, good shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey and FF T&G (combo plate), and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator.
It's a good day for a nap: the big snowstorm is upon us. All the schools are closed, even here in the North Country, where they hardly ever close. The snow is supposed to be heavy and wet: not good for the utilities crews (hopefully we won't lost power).
Our new little 'fridge held its temperature last night. This morning I put some food into it to see how that would affect it. If all looks OK by later today, I will entrust my insulin supply to it (the insulin is worth more than the 'fridge!).
Wishing you all a good day and a good start to the weekend. Stay safe, all of you in the blizzard zone. Healing vines for all kitties and beans who are not feeling well,
