Yesterday's Condo

Once again, Cinco proved that he is better than coffee for waking a bean up. My original plan was to test him, feed the kitties and go btb. One look at that +4 changed that! :eek::D He's off on another lovely surf and I couldn't be happier (anti jinx times 10).

Appies were their usual varied selves - Cinco and Harvey CPC and gimme more. Minka actually ate half of hers - after her tummy meds had kicked in - and it was a "good" one (as in good for her), Dave's T&G. Sasha didn't want any of it, and I considered giving her some Cerenia, but first offered FF Salmon, which she promptly accepted. Picky cats.:rolleyes: I took Minka some of the FF, and she ate about half of that, too. That's my go-to FF flavor, as it is the lowest in Phosphorus of the bunch.

We are getting a nice, steady rain today - harder than Friday's, but not torrential. Good day to stay home and cuddle kitties and play on the PC.

DH went to Bodega Bay with his best friend for an afternoon of poker. I was invited, but didn't want to go because it would mean doing the 18 hr schedule with Cinco and I don't want to mess with this wonderful trend he's got going on. Between his +4 and the weather, I'm glad I made the choice I did.

Minka just came down and asked for a snack by trying to bury Harvey's empty plate (that is her way of saying either "ewwww! I'm not eating this s#!*", if there's food on it; or "this plate is empty. Do something!"). I dished her up some FF and she took one bite and walked away. :rolleyes: I think she wants me to bring it upstairs for her. Apparently food tastes better in Mark's office!

Well, I'd best go serve the princess. Then there's two loads of laundry awaiting, as well as a full dishwasher to be unloaded and reloaded, and a batch of bourbon balls in the fridge waiting to be rolled into balls and finished (I know, I know - just what I need!), among countless other tasks. So I'd better pry myself out of this chair and get moving.

I'm afraid I'm getting spoiled, Wendy! But I'm not gonna complain!

Has anyone ever heard of PowerPate cat food? It's sold at OnlyNaturalpet.com. There are three flavors and claim to be 6-7% carbs and low Phos, too. I stink at calculating the GA out. I'd appreciate those of you that are better at it than I taking a look. They are offering a sample of all three flavors for 1.99 and I was thinking of trying them out.

Interesting about Power Pate. Rusty is allergic to fish ingredients, so it would be out for us, but it looks like an option for others searching for foods. Did you order the intro pack?

I think you should eat a couple of those bourbon balls! And then have a good evening,

Bourbon balls - mmmmm sounds like great breakfast food to me.

Look at that beautiful surf, Cinco! It looks like you and Skooter had the same idea.....let's hope for a nice steady surf in some awesome numbers again tonight!
 
Tricia you're a bad influence I couldn't get the bourbon off my mind and I have cracked a can of Jim Beam - for breakfast! Oh well I am on holidays and it should make the grocery shopping more bearable :)Let's just hope Purrdy and my mumbean doesn't read Cinco's condo ;)
 
OK, a green surfing Cinco, girls who eat after having their demands met, a gentle rain, and bourbon balls. I mean, does it get any better than that. Darned fine day, I say. Hope it continues.

Thanks for all the visits. Bourbon balls are finally done. I gave Cinco his shot, and since I don't do it often, I'm anxious for the first test to be sure I didn't mess it up! :nailbiting:

Same old thing - the girls only ate half their dinners, Minka needed two flavors, Harvey wanted everyone's food, etc. etc. etc. ;)

@Vyktors Mum, I'm sorry, but I am not accepting responsibility for your can of Jim Beam! I eat my whiskey! :smuggrin: :p I hope all is well with Purdy now that she is with you.

Yes, @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA), I've ordered the sample pack. I also ordered I and Love and You - the variety pack of three 3 oz cans of each. I'll let you all know how it works out.

Cinco does not usually have a food spike, so now I'm thinking I might have indeed messed up. I know I didn't get a fur shot, but the Terumo syringes are so sensitive, maybe I pushed the insulin out before the needle got into his skin. I'm going to really be upset if this is the case - he would have been better off with the 18 hour schedule. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: ARGH!!!

I know what you mean with those Terumo syringes though...they are SO sensitive!! One little bump and they're empty!

Expect the unexpected I guess. It sure is frustrating though. I hope back to normal Cinco onthe next cycle.
