It may take a bit longer than 6 cycles for Max to work that juice. You can try holding it for 10 cycles (5 days), and if nothing changes, make a dose decision at that point. This IS a lower pink, and it's an almost blue, though, so something is starting to happen. Hang in there, it WILL happen. :YMHUG:

I've had the meter glitch out before too and say it was ready and it didn't work. I now have back up meters in case :lol: I'm glad you got it to work, and what a nice slide down to blues for Max! I hope the rest of your day goes well. Happy Friday!

Thanks, Rachel. I've only had this a short time as it was a replacement for the first one that wasn't working properly so I hope it doesn't happen again. I was starting to think I was doing something wrong but couldn't be as nothing changed by me.

What a swing! I wonder if he feels like he is on a see-saw? My meter is acting funky again. I hope I am not going to have a problem. It starts fine, then doesn't want to suck up the blood. Could that be because the blood droplet was small? It did eventually work. I also wonder if it is this batch of test strips. It's the first time I bought the generic ones for my meter.

Relion Micro meter and I got the arkray strips that someone here said are made by the same company and work. They are made by the same company. They go in and the meter reads them correctly as F3. I get the beep and signal but then it doesn't draw up the blood, beeps again, draws it up, and I get a reading. Maybe they don't fit in as well and I need to be more careful??? Today is the first day I noticed this problem.

maybe it was just a bad strip or two. i hope so. i used the Relion Confirm and the Arkray strips and they worked together just fine.
If you think it's a wonky reading, just take it again with a new strip and see what you get.

I'll take it again in a couple of hours. He just ate and is acting fine. I'm in for the night. A friend is bringing over dinner and we are going to watch the Opening of the Olympics. Thanks. I did take it again with the same drop earlier and got an identical reading by the way.
