Spock is getting a double fat drop ( :? ) and his numbers are still wonking out on me. I've been giving him a snack at PM +3 and now that I can come home for lunch, he gets a snack then too. I think it's time I get aggressive with his dose again to bring him down. I'll increase another drop and see how that goes.

I remember someone posting how their vet actually laughed at them for just giving a dose of a drop. I think we could ALL tell that vet how much a difference a drop can make!

Happy day to all

I love our vet, but the look on her face when I mentioned the " 1 drop" dosing...
priceless!

Use the added juice wisely, Spock!

PMPS 105  I think his issue is he drops big-time at night and unfortunately I can't get nighttime checks. I think I need to invest in an auto feeder so he can get a snack during the night to offset the drop.

Ah yes, I forgot to report about that fiasco! The first night I slept at my new house I brought only Jesse and Spock (and left tons of food out for the other 8 still at the Albany house).

I figured what a perfect time to let Spock explore the house (he's been in his own room as long as he's been with me). Things were going fine; Jesse was uninterested in Spock and was hanging out on the cat trees.

So I go to use the toilet (yeah I know, TMI but that's when the kitters want attention the most) and Jesse comes up to me. When Spock saw him he went ballistic and attacked him like a rabid dog. Poor Jesse, black hair was flying and he was probably saying "what the h*ll?!?!?" As I was going to break it up Spock attacked again so I grabbed Jesse, waited until Spock completely un-fluffed himself and put him back in his room. Where he promptly turned into the meek, mild, scared sweetie-pie. I don't get it. And I'm not sure I will ever have the time to properly introduce them.

I was sure that Binks would be "forever apart" from our Adoptocats.

They belong to my sister, and are two female Torties who had been left on their own in the house for six years.
Never having lived with a Tortie, Binks and I survived baptism by fire, and are sadder & wiser individuals today.

   NAW, I'M JOKING- we're not sadder, but we are a WHOLE lot wiser (Binks calls the girls "The Turdies") :-D

My point is this...after a year and a half of daily pitched battles (funny ones, mostly...but still)..
and trying everything we (and the forum folks) could imagine...
the last nine nights, we have all four spent cuddling on the bed with nary a hiss, spat, or hmph!!
(the girls are prodigious "hmph-ers"...I assume it's something they developed while living alone-
like 'Twin-speak"- except that they don't like each other. Almost sounds like a dog bark.).

May you have the same good integration with yours!

 ok carolyn you only have about a year and 4 months left to go til bliss descends on your happy brood! ;-) (just teasing celi!)

let's hope the prozac mellows spock out a little bit sooner than that.
