Good Evening, L&LL,

This has been a topsy turvy day. A big storm (with snow, freezing rain, rain, ice, high winds) is on the way. I took Edward to his yoga class early this morning and then went over to the x-c ski area to ski before the storm hit. This was a good idea, because the freezing rain began shortly after I had finished skiing.

Rusty has some good numbers today (along with a visit to the sharks). He's feeling good and has good appetite.

So we are are battening down the hatches (the wind is howling) and going downstairs to sit with Rusty and hold his dinner bowl.

bbl,

p.s. I'm glad I didn't go on the ski with my friends on Monday. They encountered snow so deep that it was very difficult skiing and had to turn back after only a few miles. I could not have handled that at my present level (and my friends--all good skiers--couldn't handle it, either!)

Oh my, Rusty! You sure were thorough with your rounds of the lagoon today. I think the deep end won't need to be inspected again for a while. I'm sure the shark nets will hold.

Good call on skipping that skiing trip, Ella. Sounds like it wasn't much fun. I hope you get a chance to get out sometime soon.
