The ondansetron is working. He had a little food left on his dish last night and I heard him eating it about 1/2 an hour before amps. I don't think there was enough to raise his BG though. He ate all his baby food and came in to me for his insulin. Hopefully a few days of medication and he will be feeling better. Hopefully he will eat well today. It does look promising. I hate playing veterinarian.

Prayer and vines to all in need with extras for Tricia's kitties, Amy's DF, Jen's recovery, and all others in need.

Got everything crossed here for Max today!! fingers, paws, toes..:cat:..Slide down please and surf some green today. Vines for your mom as well.

He's still not feeling well. He was hanging by his dish but wouldn't eat the ff liver/chkn so I gave him a small spoonful of baby food which he ate and stayed by his dish. Threw out the food and gave him some ff chkn+stella's on top and he ate most of it and then went under the bed. Decided to test and he is green. Still not sure if this is a mouth issue or p'itis.

Ate the fd treat after test but didn't clean his plate from +4. Surfing so hopefully he won't need more food until tonight.

Well, that's good that he ate baby food and cat food- when Tiger was at her worst, she did not want cat food, she did accept Pure Bite Treats, which wasn't optimal. Maybe Ondansetron works better for him than Cerenia, whatever the case, his numbers look like the old Max! When he goes under the bed, is he meatloafing or sleeping normally? I really feel for you, after Tiger's bout with P-titis, I know how horrible it is to see our furbabies not feeling well. :bighug::bighug: Tons and tons of vines, and additional vines for you DM as well!

Hi Ruth and thanks for visiting. He's not meat loafing. Right now he's laying on his purr pad I was just putting his gel caps together and realized he go too much ondansetron. It's been so long that I forgot I got 8 mg instead of the fours. That will be corrected tonight. I fortunately know it's an okay dose for him but he has never needed that much in the past. I'd like to know if it's his mouth or p'itis for sure though.

Well, his numbers certainly look like Max. Now we just need the appy to get back to normal. Sending lots of healing vines and appy vines and prayers for your DM, too.

Thanks, Tricia. I really need to go to my mom's but since he won't eat I don't feel comfortable leaving for another hour to make sure he doesn't drop more. Darn it!

He ate baby food so I left. My mom is sound asleep and my sister is about to follow her so all is good for now

Thanks Julie. All was pretty good at my mom's since the CG wasn't there. Came back to Max bouncing. Now let's see if he eats.
