Morning ~O) all is well with Mags with 4 P's in place. Yesterday finally she has prezzies after a long stretch of constipation. This is the 6th day on Orbax for Maggie's kidney infection, and so far so good. Just to summarize, the Vet placed Mags on Orbax last Saturdat when I took her in for the testing. It's agreeable with her, and she seems to be feeling better. Pee clumps are back to normal. We have five and a half weeks to go of the Orbax. I was letting her eat what she wanted just to get food into her since the UTI and appy issues, and right now Merrick Cowboy Cookout is one of her favs. The FF T&G is probably her tip pick, but with the phosphorus, I use it sparingly. No poo, but I'm satisfied with every other day or even every third. I have an early hair appt today at 9:40 and looking forward to it. I hope <ags gives me some nice permission numbers. It's near my credit union, so i can run some errands nearby later.

Thanks Barb & Checkers for your post in yesterday's condo. Yes, I do remember your feedback concerning the Bupe and all narcotics causing constipation. In hindsight I should have know just as it is constipaing in humans. Yesterday were some nice prezzies which took a lot of work with the Miralax cocktails, Lactulose, Cisapride. Mags withstood all the meds and came thru. Thanks for all your vines and support. That must have been awful with the back pain and tolerating the side effects of the meds.

Nice on the prezzies Maggie! :-D The bupe constipated Tarragon as well. Poor girl. Those were some very pretty greens yesterday. I hope she lets you out a little today. Haircuts are always a nice way to spend time. Have a wonderful day Ann!

YAY! We have prezzies! What a relief huh. You've gotten very good at dealing with that. I am glad to read too that Maggie tolerates the Orbax well - this is good. It is nice to read that she is feeling better too.

I can so relate to letting them eat what they want, just so they eat. Been that way with Mannie these days too.

Enjoy your hair appt, and the errands. Maggie - the bean needs to go out for a while, so be a good girl, and surf well, 'K?

Beautiful Numbers today & great news on the prezzies--Moonie doesnt go every day--I panic when it's the 3rd day, but luckily I have the enemas here--Hope I never have to use them!

+3 116 I hope this goes thru -- I just got the error popup. It looks like Mags will give me permission for the morning off to get my hair done and some errands. I'll leave plenty of fuds. She eats most of her fuds before the +6 and sometimes a snack later.

Thanks Melissa, she did have some nice greens yesterday. It looks like she will have a nice surf today. She's had three breffifs already!

Thanks Michelle, I'm so relieved she is doig well on this antibiotic since we have five weeks to go yet. It does look like I am getting a permission slip. I've been feeding mini meals to keep her flattened.

Hi Roni, I thought Mags was on her way to Green Lagoon, but it looks like she will stay on the shoreline. I need to leave in a bit so may miss a green or two. I agree on the every other day and it's such a relief to see prezzies on the third day.

Thanks so much Devon for all your support and vines. It does look like a nice permission slip. Mags is all settled down in her little bed by the patio, keeping an eye on any little critters. Give some scritches and headbutts to Mocha from us.

I am so glad to see sweet Maggie is on the mend. Too bad she had 5 poo-less days, but on the bright side, you learned that bupe is not a good choice of pain meds for her, unless absolutely necessary. Very nice surf going, Li'l Maggie Girl!!!

About the same PM number as the AM. I set the feeder and was surprised Mags used it, first time.

Thanks Amy, she does seem to be on the mend. Darn on the bupe, as it sure is an effective pain reliever. I wish it weren't so hard for her to have a poo, but she tolerates the meds very well.

Hi Michelle & Scrabble, no green for Missy Mags, but she did use the feeder, which is a first. I had it set a little late though, so she will probably be high for her pre shot.

Hi John, thanks for the good thoughts on Maggie's recovery. My typing does seem to go thru even with the pop up error.

Thanks Barb & Checkers, yes the poo issue is moving along. :-D She hasn't gone yet today, but that's a new normal for her.

Just getting caught up here and read your yesterday's condo about Maggie's kidney infection. It is very good that you got a head start on the antibiotic and that it turned out to be the correct one for kidney infection. I'm so glad to hear that Maggie is already feeling much better.
