2/7 Lily AMPS 57 +1=77 +2=79 +3=100

So was all set to increase Lily’s insulin this morning like @tiffmaxee and I talked about last night and she is 57! I will feed her and shoot the 1.0 insulin. Should I feed some MC along with her LC @Bandit's Mom ?

Shoot low to stay low...as long as you're prepared...plenty of test strips and food on hand, LC, MC and HC just in case.

The other option is you could wait and test again in 20 minutes to see if the number is rising or falling - did you already shoot?

She seems to like going low in the second half of the PM cycle. She may bounce again from here. Feed her usual LC and check +1 and then feed MC, if needed.

I saw the 77 on the SS. Can't say if it's a food bump or a bounce. Could be like the morning of 2/2 where the bounce is delayed. You could either feed a spoon of MC to play it safe or wait for +2 and see if it's flat/higher.

I see a 51 and a 53 on another day. Looks like it happens on bounce breaking cycles. It's great that you are getting comfortable shooting the 50s now.

Good morning. I had a feeling the bounce was clearing and the threat worked! She must have continued dropping all night! I need to post the threat more often. Lol. Max used to do that. The good news is she didn’t have any hc last night and looks like she won’t today so I think it will clear even faster than usual if a bounce is starting.

I was shocked to see the 57 but somewhat relived to see it this morning. I thought about her increase every time I woke up last night. I guess I am a little scared. Sure does look like she is going into another bounce and hope you are right (and you usually are) that it will clear fast.

My first amps green was after going to bed at +6 with a nice blue or yellow. That works better than coffee to get you moving, doesn’t it? Next time we suspect a bounce clearing cycle last night I think you will need to set an alarm for an extra test at +7- 9 to see how low she’s going. I almost suggested that last night.
