Jackson had a super green day today. I'm feeling more confident with the one drop measuring -- at least I'm consistent in technique, and I did another test to make sure that I'm only pulling out one drop and lo and behold, only one drop!

The cats got an accidental +9 snack this morning as I woke up in a coughing fit around 3:30 am and went to the kitchen for a glass of water. They had some food leftover (have discovered that they don't care for the salmon flavor of FF) and chowed down. Jack's AMPS was 76, so I'm thinking that the +9 snack may have helped with that, as Sienne has explained. Gave them a +8 snack this afternoon, and his PMPS was 78.

He was happy and energetic this morning, displaying behavior I call KRAZY KRAZY KATTY.

Yesterday's recap: AMPS 107 +6 75 PMPS 94 +4 62

Funny story of yesterday was that Jack's brother Ollie was in the other room and started that weird "meeeerrrroooowww" noise that always freaks me out but is him trying to meow while parading around the house with a toy in his mouth, as if to say "See what a brave warrior I am -- I caught this wild felt mouse with my bare teeth. My gift to you." (Does anyone else's cat do that?) So I called out to him and he came strutting in with a huge gift bow (the premade kind with the sticky bottom) the size of his head. I have no idea where he found it. He was so proud. I, of course, cracked up but tried to act impressed -- actually, I was impressed!

Have a good night, Lantus Land.
