Good morning :)

Fistuk's been doing much better on 1.25 but I'm wondering whether he needs a bit more pancreas support.

Yesterday I let him out on the balcony early morning while i was getting ready to go out for work. It really invigorates him and always spikes his BG. So he had a blue day yesterday, after a long time of having much more green and good nadirs.

DH measured morning BG this morning and the day before (FEb 5). When I did the morning ritual Fistuk was 85 (Feb 6). DH was wondering whether it's something in the way he tests. I don't think so, but any thoughts are welcome. (Does Fistuk just perform better for me? :p)

On the whole, I'm thinking maybe a raise to 1.5U is in place. Get rid of more blues?
@Bandit's Mom @Angela & Cleo @tiffmaxee And anyone else :)

Other than that all is rather well and on track. Quite boring ;)

Wishing you a boring day :bighug:
:bighug:

Hi Shelly, happy to hear all is well with Fistuk these days. Good luck when you give him an increase. :D
Glad to hear DH is able to help out. Maybe he just prefers his Mum’s touch :joyful:
Don't tell Robert, shhhhh.
Hope the job is going well.
Have a boring day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly (hope you're enjoying the new job :bighug:). It looks there's room for an increase to bring down those blues. See what the others say.

PS I'm sure there's nothing wrong with your husband's testing Fistuk.
I almost cross-posted the very words Angela used - you have room for an increase! :smuggrin:

Thank you both :joyful:
I will increase tonight so by Friday when the depot builds I'm home to test.

I am enjoying the new work :) Thanks for asking! I do however still need time to adjust. Working with small children is very demanding and I'm often reaching my off days completely off :p:p:p

I told DH that there's nothing wrong with his readings but he'll be happy to receive your confirmation :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci:)
It's our secret, I won't tell him ;) I think DH suspected that bc he knows that Fistuk is so attached to me :p
I will give him the increase tonight. I thought he might be up for an increase for some time. But with my work schedule together with wanting to give him time to show me what are his plans with this dose I just took the time.
The job is going well. I'm not used to working in a team anymore. As I told my step-mum yesterday, it's not the kids that are hard work but the grown up :p No, I'm just joking. I love the staff. There are minor differences in pedagogical views but I'm old enough for my ego to be very silent which is a relief. I get a lot of satisfaction from my private practice and the combination of the two works well. Just need more time to adjust to the work times and also the hard physical labour (not 20 anymore ;))
Hope you and Ivy are doing well. Ill pop over to your side soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning Shelly,
So precious that Fistuk enjoys the outdoor air in the morning! :kiss:

Good luck with the increase. A little extra push may help things ease out!
Hi Kit :)
It's so nice to see Fistuk get excited so I let him out even though knowing it'll cost us a bit. happiness worth anything it asks for ;)

:joyful::joyful::joyful: Of course he does! Momma is the absolute best! Daddy isn't all that bad, just way behind...:p:p:p
Have a wonderful day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
True. And his doing his best. He knows how much I care about Fistuk and his well being and I think he felt guilty that his readings were higher but he was reading too much into it :joyful::joyful:
Hope you and Mikan and doing well. Will come visit you soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Messgae of the day from Fistuk:
"Take cover--
because it's cold and windy outside,
and you'll discover
that life is a joyful ride":bighug:

So smart, be safe with the dosing when you can monitor him.

And I get it about the adults being the difficult ones at work. The kids are innocent. The adults have egos and agendas. Always more of a challenge. But glad you have your own practice where you get the rewards you enjoy.
You’re doing amazing!! Enjoy your day, Shelly :cat:

Oh Fistuk, you are sooo adorable under your blankie! :kiss::kiss:
I hope you enjoy your new job Shelly, and good luck with the increase. And you are blessed to have a husband willing to help, even if Fistuk says, 'There's no one better than Momma!" ;)

Our favourite, Christine, is when I go for a midday snooze and he joins me under cover. I love his warmth and the way he relaxes.
Yes, Robert's help is precious. Without it I wouldn't have been able to work :bighug::bighug::bighug:
