If there is one thing I have learnt after having a sugarcat that will only eat high carb dry food (and that too mostly after the nadir) and is bouncy and unregulated after 3+ years of diagnosis, it is that a cat is more than its numbers. She is healthy and happy and that's all that matters. Or so I tell myself

@Bandit's Mom Bhooma, thank you for taking the time to say this. I try and remind myself that she's more than her numbers. Sometimes, like today, it's hard to accept it. I know that she'll see green again... eventually 
... and I just have to be patient.
To my fellow CGs with the forever bouncing kitties that keep going up and down in dose on what seems like a daily basis, I think you understand what I'm saying and feeling. I take comfort in that
On a side note, I still think she's affected by the moon

There have been times in the past when she's had days of blues and greens and no pinks and reds and I've gotten so excited and hopeful that she will stop bouncing. Even that seemed like a big win with her. She still bounces to reds - even says Hi The bounces and higher numbers are indeed hard to accept. You know what, I read here - many moons ago (no pun intended) - that some cats' BGs were indeed affected by the moon. Seriously.On a side note, I still think she's affected by the moon
