Yesterday's condo
TGIF Lantus Land!!
I'm more than ready for the weekend, and hoping we get some better weather, but that 4 letter word is in the forecast again. Been a busy day already and it's not over yet!
China's been her usual good kitty for me since I've had to be on the run all day. Had to take DM to get fasting bloodwork early so could only get a +1, but after that and taking DM to get a belated breakfast, had time to run home, poke and leave. Was a little concerned with the 90 at +3 since I still had places to go, but I knew China would be ok...she always has been! Then took DM shopping and finally back to Assisted Living, and I was off for my own appointment with the orthopedic surgeon at 11.
Finally got home in time to get a +6 of 119 which kind of confuses me, but since I still have stuff to do, at least I know she's not going too low.
Now for the fun part! NOT!! I have to have knee surgery soon,the sooner the better, but I don't know how I'm going to be able to be off my feet for several weeks. I would have to be pretty much totally off the knee for 2-3 weeks, and only light duty for another 4-6 weeks or longer. With everything I have to do with DM, I just don't know how I'm going to do that, but at least I don't have to have a knee replacement (yet) which would keep me in the hospital several days. The surgery they're wanting to do now uses a scope and is done as an outpatient
Gotta go get DM again and go to the phone store! Hope everyone is having a great day! Will catch up with condos later!
