Good morning! After yesterdays trip to the vet for her sore paw, she seems normal this morning. She was under the bed last nght so no test after pmps. She was curled up in her cat bed as usual this morning and I tested with no issues. She walked over and hopped up on the table where I feed her and I gave her the pain pill wrapped in cheese which she ate. She ate her ff and finished it, then was looking to hop down, so I picked her up and let her down and she walked back to her bed where she is washing up now.:) Im off today..Yay..so I will be posting her +3 later. Thanks again to all who posted and sent vines for her..it helped alot! I was a worried mommy yesterday! Sending vines to anyone in need of them today..

So far so good! thanks Marilyn, Amy and Elise:). Im going back to the vet in a few minutes..NO..not for Chi Chi..just to take civie Molly for a nail trim..the tech that did Chi Chi yesterday was so good with her, that she said she would do my other two today. Im just taking Molly today and will take Putter on Tuesday. Im very bad when it comes to nail trims..hate it.. I will be back in time for a +5 hopefully, if not mom will test.

Hi Laura,
It is great that Chi Chi's foot is OK. It could have just been one of those "anythings". And good to take care of her ears, too! Have a fine day.

Came back from the vet with Molly earlier, and when Chi Chi saw the cat carrier she went straight under the bed..I cant entice her out for a test, but think Im gonna put her dish down and let her eat anyway in case she is low..

Laura, it sounds like you could use the risers I bought for my bed when Tiffany first got sick. They are made of wood and slip under each leg of the bed. I got them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I would be up a creek without them with Max. He would need to be locked permanently out of my bedroom, his favorite hangout.

I leave my carriers out in the hall all the time, just to avoid the reaction when they come in to view. It has made it much easier to catch the cats when it's time to take them to the vet.

I don't have to worry about hauling my cats out from under the beds because I have tons of stuff stored under there and there is no room for even my smallest kitty! Serves two purposes! ;)

My DH does the nail trimming around here, but when I have Cinco or Harvey at the vet, I usually take advantage of the opportunity to let a professional do it, as those two are hard to hold onto. Our girls just lay there and purr!

I'm glad Chi Chi is walking better. I hope she continues to do well. Sending healing vines.

First test was 67. Re tested right away and was 90. Waited 10 min. and was 84. A little rise, so I shot and will get a +1 just to be sure..she never surfaced til right before tfs, so thats why no test since amps+3. I can only guess what she did today as far as numbers, but thinking she dropped and surfed green all day. I think she feels better on the meds, thus the lower numbers? I may be up late tonight, and then again she may bounce..but I got a good nap in today so Im prepared.

Nice shooting :D

Another trick to alleviate concern about the carrier is to feed her near it and then, when she's ready, in it - door open of course!

Looking good Chi Chi! :D:D Keep on surfing tonight. Pain can raise numbers. Reduce the source of pain and you can get lower numbers.

I think I've taken Neko to the vet so much lately (including acupuncture), that she just sighs and walks in the carrier.
