Since we have used R pretty often in the past several days, we have been getting a lot of tests. Poor Weezer is getting tired of the routine. Lately when I lift her to the testing counter she will walk to the other end and sit down facing away from me. So yesterday afternoon and last night we gave her a poke rest. After the PMPS +3, no tests until +10. Wouldn’t you know she picks sometime overnight to dive! So I don’t know if the 93 I caught was her lowest or not. Stay tuned for the bounce.

Wow, Linda, look at sweet Weezer today with this nice blue. They do get tired of the pokes sometimes and let us know, and then it's time to let them take a rest. Have a good Monday to you both.

They love to surprise you when you least expect it. But those greens are amazingto see and a very nice amps too. Way to go Weezer!

I hope Weezer doesn't rise too fast on a bounce for you today.

Nice and gentle for a good change.

I know about the pokey thing. I try and have at least a few days a week where we're not poking all the time. It is hard to judge sometimes if a test is needed or not. Attie doesn't show signs and he has caught me unawares several times. :roll:

You probably could have predicted that Weezer would mess with you!! They do love to be unpredictable.

(IMHO, I think with the disclaimer in your signature line, you don't need to keep repeating it daily. You could slightly modify your sig line, if you feel so inclined, it you think it would be helpful.)

Wow on that green last night, and an awesome start today. No bouncies, Weezer!

I know what you mean about all the pokies. Sometimes everyone needs a bit of a break! Hopefully, you'll be able to get adjusted to this newer R routine, get good data to see how she responds, and be able to maybe cut back a little bit. Of course, though, as the others have said, being unpredictable is one of the things they do best, 'cause they're cats!

I think it was Weezer's way of thanking you for not poking so much: she wanted you to see and to be pleased that she could get a green. Good girl, Weezer (I hope it doesn't backfire on you!!).

Wow!!! Beautiful #s for Miss Weezer!!! I agree that sometimes they need a poke rest. I would get tired of being poked, too, if I were a kitty. Less stress... Better #s? *shrug* Hoping for a beautiful surf for you both today! Come on Weezer... you can do it!!

Oh my sweet WeeWeezer - just LOOK at you! You're numbers are better than KTs!!! Stay down there and shake it baby girl!

Hugs Linda - KT just loves to do that to me - slide along in 200's, 300's...than slap me with a +10 of LOW numbers. I think they just do it to keep us on our toes.

HI Linda....you have really got the R down to a science! I'm really impressd at the healing levels you ar able to maintain with Ms Weezer. She might walk away from a poke but she knows you love her and are giving her all the best! Hope she doesn't bounce badly and her liver training schooling starts to show :-D

She is doing soooo great!!
Pokes and Bounces, just a fact of life here..When I can avoid too many pokes & she is high blue past her nadir, I lay off them..I f they need it, well, you gotta do what you gotta do!!
You are managing her so so well--Kudos to you & Weezer for a job well done--Excellent fine tuning with the R..

I'm thinking. Of course, I'm hoping no bounce. But that's not likely! Predictible is too much to ask for, but I wish i at least had a clue.

Part of me wants to see how a bounce, if any, will play out at this dose without R.
The other part of me does not want to see a trip to the 3rd floor. . .in which case I'm thinking maybe .25u at +6 if it looks like she is going to shoot up. . .

What do you think?

+6 is in 30 minutes and no one is home now, so that's a non-starter. Part of me (a large part!) also wants to see how it plays without R. I'll see just how ugly it gets by PMPS and maybe go with no R tonight. What would be the number which must be "R"ed tonight?

Well then, it looks like we will indeed see how this cycle plays out.

For tonight it's going to be 'seat of the pants'. . .will there be any further testing before PMPS?

Perhaps her Majesty will have another surprise in store ;-)

DH just got home (early!). Her +6 is 241. She's holding pretty good. I wouldn't want to shoot R at this number against a potential bounce. DH can get as many tests this afternoon as would be helpful.

I agree - hold off R for now. Get at least one more test in before PMPS
(although more is always nice -it's sounds like she needs s bit of a break)

I'm impressed with the way you are handling the R too. Paws crossed that this is as far as she bounces. It was so nice that Weezer got to party at the Green Lagoon last night!

I hear you on the polies. I'm always jealous of the beans whose cats come running for tests. :roll: Tess likes to sit just out of reach or get up and leave when she knows it's time! ohmygod_smile

ah, linda, what a wild-haired ride! look what i found - it's a picture of weezer taken when she snuck out last night. you only thought she was sleeping in the house! in reality . . .

At +10 Weezer was at 339. PMPS is 325. Pretty much the same number. While that's not a great surfing spot, I would like to see what the 14.5 u of Lantus can do with the bounce, so I didn't shot any R tonight.

Miss Weezer!!!! You had green all over you when you woke up today!!! Good girl...and you took your time about bouncing!!!

I also think you and DH are doing super, Linda!!! Weezer has looked better lately than in a long time. I hope she's feeling better.

It will be interesting to see how this cycle plays out!
