Hi Folks:

Yesterday

Scooter is much happier this morning. He was alert and talking and hungry. I love when he is in pink blue or yellow because he is much more animated and happy.

I gave him the last of his bupe and clindrops so we will both be happy tonight.I even announced it to the whole house that "Scooter is done with his meds". I acutally sang it I guess. :lol:

We are starting off yellow today so that is a huge improvement over red and black. All is good in cold sunny MN today.

Excellent recovery report - from the dental as well as the fur shot!

Keep a close eye on the BGs - as Scooter gets farther from the dental surgery there is potential for better numbers requiring less insulin.

I couldn't agree more - not having to shove pills and potions down a kittys throat is something to sing about.
(I've got a sick one right now and all I can say is it's a good thing she is old, 6lbs and has no teeth - I'm lousy at giving meds by mouth)

I'm so happy to see how well Scooter is recovering from the dental (and the fur shot). He's a real trooper. Yay for a yellow AMPS! Now let's see a nice, safe slide today, Scooter!

Double yay for being done with meds. I wish I could say that. The counter where I prepare the fuds is covered with little bottles, syringes, pill poppers and packets. It looks more like a pharmacy than a kitchen. :lol:

Hope you stay warm and Scooter surfs safely.

Hi Linda,
I'm glad that Scooter is feeling good again after his dental. That is wonderful. And he has survived his fur shot (of course it is mostly frustrating for the beans, not the kitties). And no more meds after today. What a great day for you guys!
