Yesterday

Yup, it was a fur shot last night ($1 has been put into the fur-shot basket). Rusty had a good night after his "blah" day yesterday. He ate all of his nighttime food and was raring to go this morning. (maybe I need to give more fur shots).
It's a beautiful, cold sunny day. We got another few inches of snow last night. I'm really unhappy not to be skiing with my friends in the Western Adirondacks today (I didn't think my skiing ability is up to this trail). But I'll be going over to the x-c center at Mt. van Hoevenberg this afternoon to practice.

Wishing all a fine Monday.

Glad Rusty is doing better today. :) At least you will get out to ski on fresh powder, that is fabulous. No more snow since our 36" 2 weeks ago. It's not in very good shape, even for snowshoeing.

That was quite a recovery from the furshot this morning!!

Sorry you didn't get to go skiing with your friends, but I'm glad you had the sense to know it was probably above your skill level.....we don't need to hear about any more accidents on the ski slopes!!

Yo Rusty!! Good to sees you today!! I is trying to be a good kitty for mama and staying away from da sharks.....at least until she ain't lookin' ! Wanna race?? Being good is boring!!

A nice recovery, indeed. I don't think Rusty likes being too far away from the lagoon - he takes his responsibilities very seriously.

I think it is great that you are realistic about your abilities and don't take silly risks when you engage in activities. Too many people think a challenge is always a good thing, not realizing the degree of challenge is an important factor on whether or not it is wise to accept it.

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:
Kitteh barista Vanessa says you need extra, as it is very cold out....

What a recovery for Rusty, off of the yellow floor right into the lagoon. Nice to see you surf safely yesterday Rusty. How about more green today? :D:D:D:cool:

Wow on your weather! I hope you enjoyed the x-c time you did yesterday. We have had a "snow event" here too. 6-10" in the greater Seattle area. A snow day for Nicholas and William, and off day for their mom, and me too. I did venture out for a 2 hour "walk" in the snow yesterday. Amazing how peaceful and beautiful it can be when all is blanketed in white. Today alot of it has melted, leaving us with iced up streets... alas, that too will be gone once the rains hit later today. Typical Seattle stuff, huh.

Enjoy your day today! I hope all goes well.
