Luci was off to a dramatic start after the dose increase yesterday morning:eek:...but now seems to be languishing up in the trees...big bounce yesterday afternoon...she sure loves the drama of the roller coaster. Each day is a complete surprise with her - only upon looking back are we ever sure 'yes, she was going to ....' yep, that's my Luci.:facepalm:

Isn't Dr. Elsey's Dry cat food? It's my understanding that any dry food is digested differently than wet food & can cause higher BG?

For the first 6 months Ravan was bouncing all the time, I switched to Levemir & it took a while but I think the Levemir did help. I'm using less insulin also which for me is a good thing!
It might be worth a try?:)

Yes and No....went thru quite a discussion here not too long ago and said that I was heavily invested in Lantus - therefore we'll be sticking with Lantus. I am however watching closely other cats who are currently on Lev - hoping to see those flat low cycles - If that proves to be the case - so far it hasn't for those cats and WHEN the Lantus runs low I will certainly consider Lev. Thanks for your suggestion :)
