Cleo has 4 P's in place this morning. Appy was pretty good. I tried the Ziwipeak Lamb again. Today, she liked it with continual toppings  She continues to check her bowl (and her sibs) to see if one of them contains something better
It still amazes me as I watch her leap straight from the kitchen floor up to the counter with ease. And I think of how very long she was not able to do that ohmygod_smile and I just attributed it to old age. My baby probably had FD a very long time before she was diagnosed. Makes me want to cry and smack myself. She was such an easy cat. Didn't want a lot of attention, non-fussy with food, no problems with LB, and was easiest to overlook. I still have a lot of guilt over that

Hope everyone has a great Thursday! One day till Friday! Vines to all kitties and beans in need♥

Re: 2/6 Cleo AMPS 150

Yay for a good appy this morning. It's great the Cleo is doing so well. It is hard when we do our best to take care of our furbabies and then something like FD comes along. If Furball hadn't gotten the UTI, I wouldn't have taken her to the vet. I don't know how long she had FD before she was diagnosed either.

Re: 2/6 Cleo AMPS 150

I'm glad she is feeling much better now :)

Enjoy your day

Re: 2/6 Cleo AMPS 150

Cleo is doing so much better now. It is easy to overlook when they are the "easy" ones. We did the same thing and I had a lot of guilt for a long time. What matters is she is better now and getting even better every day. ((((Jane))))

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O)

Looking good this morning Cleo. I like your blue start. Good job on the fuds too. Did you find anything better in the other bowls?

It was the same for us.Mannie went undiagnosed for what was the longest time, as he too was one of the mellow easy going cats. Once it was apparent that he really did have something wrong, it took the vet a long time to come up with the FD Dx. I too still feel guilty over it all. It is so nice to read that Cleo s back to being Cleo, counter jumping and all. Way to go Cleo!

Have a great day Jane. I hope all goes well.

Re: 2/6 Cleo AMPS 150; +2/116

It's too funny that Chyna loves the Ziwipeak and Cleo turns up her nose, so weird that they have such different tastes. I'm glad she ate it anyways, with toppings. Maybe it will grow on her :-D

Nice slide Cleo! Are you going to hang out in the lagoon soon? If you do, pick a nice safe number and surf it for your bean, please. ;-)

I hear you on the wondering about Dx and feeling bad :YMHUG: . I have no idea how long it took my brain to register that she was drinking so much, it didn't seem long but I just kept refilling the bowl. Then the litter box was flooded and I started to worry. And who knows how long she had it before, since she may not have shown "major" symptoms for her thick bean to notice  . The important part is, they are being treated now and doing much better

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: I understand the guilt...I have a feeling Trix had FD for a while, too...she didn't have screaming, attention getting symptoms, other than being slightly "off". But, you are the best bean ever, and Cleo knows it.

What a wonderful report about how good she's feeling! I haven't tried the Ziwipeak, but I'm going to give it a whirl. Trix also needs continual toppings on top of her Wellness. It makes me feel better to know it's not just us!

Have a great day, Jane!

Cleo has decided to take a swim in the lagoon tonight  Could be that extra drop working :-D

Thank you Carla, Dyana, Melissa, Michelle, Rachel & Amy for the visits today. I don't know why such a feeling of guilt came over me. I want to enjoy and celebrate how much better she is now than she was one year ago. Thank you LL :-D

Hi Jane.
Beautiful day for Cleo!!
I'm so glad to hear that Cleo has had such wonderful improvements, because of your dedication to treat her FD.
