Hmmm, I guess I should give Checks that bit of HC at +1, even tho it's high, to prevent the usual hundred point drop to +2.
By now, I know he's going to do it. Boy it's hard to carb a high number. :YMSIGH:

Gave heaping teas HC +2.

I'm pretending I don't know he's on the sink. He'll sit there all day, waiting for me to turn the water on.

Hi guys .. checkers sure does like dropping doesn't he? I would feel the same way about high carbing a high number, but if you know your boy and know hes going to drop, that might help him .. but what do I know? Have a great day guys!

Hi LInda. I gave the HC at +2. Hindsight, ya know? :-D

It worked a bit too well. +3 is basically the same.

Devon, you know more than I do apparently....Mocha is still off insulin. :-D

So next time I will give less than teas HC. Although it worked well to keep him surfing....sheesh, it's yellow.

Barb!! OMG Tux looks just like Moonie!!! Yikes her doppelganger!!
Slidage for Checks with HC & all! Maybe it will continue today!--Moonie goes up from MC, & alwyas from Temptations, but I think she bounces from them too!--
The search for the perfect high carb food for us all goes on ;-)

At least Checks didn't jump right back up. have you tried something lower carb at +1 to get ahead of the drop? You might be able to get by w/ MC or higher end LC.

Awww.....so sweet with Checkers sleeping on the sink - I love it! He fits perfect on the side there! :-D Love the pic of Tux with his nanners pillow. Wait til Mannie sees him. Maggie has a lone nanner she sometimes uses as a pillow, too.
I am amazed too, at how you need to hc Checkers, and you really do well. Mags is the opposite, extreme carb sensitive, which is bad, too, with the fuds. Have a nice day, Barb.

What I call HC is a teas of gravy and food mix. So, it could really be called MC, I suppose.
It's what I use to slow down a dive.

Real HC, in my opinion is total gravy,with no food in it....used when he is really low, like below 40.
I don't explain well in the post, trying to keep it short.

So THAT's where he went this afternoon!! Mystery solved! and yes, that is what mannie does. lines then all up, one as a pillow! Mannie says to tell Tux he did it perfectly, and he is very proud of him!

I love the photos. They both are great. The nanner one cracks me up - omg. It is so Mannie.

Wow - Checks is, more or less, flat today. I hope he has a great cycle tonight. well, not too great - meaning NO DIVES Checks! Surf nicely now....

Oy, this cat is driving me nuts. He is obsessed with that hundred points. If he isn't diving, he's soaring the hundred. I was so careful not to feed after +10, too

Gonna wait for +2, to see if he plans on dropping hard. Hope that's not too late. He doesn't normally drop much at night.

Once again, he proved me wrong. So, at +1, I'm supposed to always give higher carbs, no matter how high the bg?? :YMSIGH:
