So... once again, my threat of switching to Lev has resulted in numbers that I just dont want to mess with! Even called the vet yesterday - and he's willing to switch - but does want to do an exam first (it's been since May, so that's understandable). I WAS gonna take Tink in tonight for that... but we've been having really nice numbers the last two days... so now I'm hesitant. And I'm too close to being out of Lantus (and it being the weekend) to wait any longer to decide. SO... I just called in the refill. UGH.
So... the change to Lev will wait ANOTHER month. Oh well. I'll be better equipped to afford it then anyway. Kinda tight at the moment. HOPEFULLY he keeps UP with the lovely numbers this time. Seems he can only handle chillin' in the lagoon for a few days at a time (usually the exact few days in which I COULD make the switch) and then he's gotta get back up to his high-rise suite. Darn crazy cat!
Another positive... his appetite SEEMS to be slightly less voracious lately. He's taking a little longer (than 2 seconds) to eat his food and isn't trying to steal Hoppy's food AS MUCH. I still have to watch... but before if I looked away for a split second the food was in Tink's mouth. Now he stops if I just say his name. So... whether it's training or he just isn't as crazy hungry all the time... I'm not sure... but in any case... it's better.
