oh isn't tiki's ss looking great, tonya? you should feel really good about that - you're doing a wonderful job managing him.
 
Thanks Julie - it's all thanks to you guys here in this mysterious land of beautiful strangers that have become treasured friends. My vet sent me off with very little knowledge and everyone here made sure I did things right. I talk to all sorts of people who have had diabetic pets and just shot them up blindly twice a day not knowing whether it was a good thing or a bad thing. Tiki has settled into things like an old pro and barely fusses with me over any of it (which I still can't believe!!!).

So thanks to everyone here who helps us newbie's to "get it" and to "get it done well."
 
it's a giant pass it on thing! libby, sienne, marje, michelle, jill, laurie - and lots more taught me when i got here also. someone taught them too. crazy internet people! :lol:

my neighbor across the street has a diabetic dog. same dose twice a day for years on end - no testing. but i guess it's working for them. dogs are easier to regulate than cats, though, so perhaps that's the difference.
 
Tonya: well we can give you the info but you have to be willing to learn and make the decisions and you have. You've done a great job and Tiki looks super!!! Be proud of yourself.

And we are so happy you are part of our LL family!!
